Today I am going to share with all of you a short remind about, why we living this life? And why Allah creates humans.

If I asked anyone right now, what’s your goal in life? Some might answer I want to buy a house for my own and some will answer I want to buy a car and some will answer I want to own a bank a account full of money, it’s not wrong that you want all of that, not at all but the wrong is to forget the real reason for being in this life.

Surat Adh-Dhāriyāt (The Winnowing Winds)

(And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship me) Ayah 56

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ) )

Some of us say that we are in this life , we are living just for worship Allah , worship Allah with meaning of praying and making dua and stay all day in the mosque , brothers and sisters or anyone who think that , you are so wrong , to worship Allah you have to believe first with your heart and then worship with deeds all the good deeds , worship Allah is to love Allah like you see Allah  in ever deed you do and to make it only for Allah worship Allah is to pray , make dua , trust Allah , work ,set with your family  and we an  example  our Prophet  (peace be upon him)

Anas bin Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There is no Muslim who plants a tree or sows seeds and then a bird, or a person, or an animal eats from it except that it is regarded as a charity for him.

Brothers and sisters  al Islam  is a religion of work  not just wishing , each one of us is a great part of Islam , so you have to play a vital role in this life and understand exactly why Allah create ,  not just for staying all day in mosque  of course not ,  to be the true believer  you have to worship Allah like you see Allah and if you don’t see Allah know for sure that Allah see you , in all kind of worship.

  • To prayer is worship Allah
  • Dua is worship Allah
  • Feeding your family is worship Allah
  • Taking care of your family is worship Allah
  • Working hard and earn your living form Halal way is worship for Allah.
  • Smiling in your brother face is worship Allah
  • Doing your home work is worship Allah
  • Patience if you face hardships is worship Allah
  • The Main keys to be Faithful to Allah

If we look carefully to all what we doing in our life its consider worshiping Allah , see my friends how our religion is so easy  to practice it , to worship Allah the real worship is to love Allah and his prophet more than any thing , and to put Allah in front of your eyes in every thing you do in this life ( working , studying, selling , buying and with treating others) and don't let us forget the word of our master Umar Ibn Al khattab RA
you can invite  to Islam with out say a word , just by your manners
In the end I want to say Islam is not just a religion Islam is a way of living ,  don’t forget to smile its Sunnah

May Allah guide us to his straight path and help us throw this live Allah bless all of you …..Amen

Salam Alikom Wa Rahmatuallah Wa Barakatuh

Islam Religion : what a perfect religion to be in and to feel that you are one of a great nation that share amazing rules call Islamic Sharia , so if we look where this Islamic sharia come from , we should all know it came from 2 resource Qur'an kaream  and Hadith of our prophet Mohamed ( PBUH ) , today we will talk  about amazing Hadith that order us to stay a way from the 7 fatalities :
Keep Away From The Seven Fatalities
Keep Away From The Seven Fatalities

Abu Hurairah ( May Allah be pleased with him)said: The Prophet ( peace and blessing upon him) said , " Keep away from the seven fatalities .'' It was asked : " What are they, O Messenger of Allah? '' He ( peace and blessing upon him) replied, " Associating anything with Allah in worship ( i.e., committing an act of Shirk), sorcery, killing of one whom Allah has declared inviolable without a just cause, devouring the property of an orphan, the eating of usury (Riba), fleeing from the battlefield and accusing chaste believing women, who never even think of anything touching their chastity.'' [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary :
All the sins mentioned in the Hadith are major sins but Shirk is the greatest of all. The reason behind this is that it will never be pardoned, and one who commits it, will abide in Hell for all eternity. So far as the other major sins are concerned with Allah, He may forgive them if He so wills; otherwise one who is guilty of such sins will have to suffer the torments of Hell. He will, however, be sent to Jannah after suffering the punishment if he is a Muslim.

What is the situation of a believer who commits many sins during his life? Will Allaah forgive him or will he be punished? What is the extent of his punishment?

Praise be to Allaah.

If believers die believing in Allaah but having committed sins less than major shirk that puts a person beyond the pale of Islam, one of two scenarios may apply:
1 – they repented from those sins during their lives. If they repented sincerely, Allaah will accept that from them, and they will once again become like those who did not commit any sin, and they will not be punished for their sins in the Hereafter. Indeed, their Lord may honour them and turn their bad deeds (sayi’aat) into good deeds (hasanaat).

2 – those who die without having repented from their sins, or whose repentance was imperfect and did not meet the required conditions, or their repentance was not accepted. What is proven in the verses of the Qur’aan and the Sunnah of the Prophet, and on which the righteous salaf was agreed is that these – the sinners among those who believe in Tawheed (the oneness of Allaah) – fall into three categories:
The first category: People who have many hasanaat (good deeds) to their credit, which outweigh these sayi’aat (bad deeds). Allaah will forgive them for their bad deeds and admit them to Paradise. The Fire will never touch them, as a kindness and blessing from Allaah. According to a hadeeth narrated by Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him), the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:  “Allaah will bring the believer close and will shelter him with His screen, then He will say, ‘Do you remember such and such a sin? Do you remember such and such a sin?’ and he will say, ‘Yes, O Lord,’ until He makes him confess his sins and he thinks that he is doomed. Then [Allaah] will say, ‘I concealed it for you in the world and I forgive you for it today.’ Then he will be given the book of his good deeds (hasanaat). But as for the kaafir and the hypocrite, the witnesses will say, ‘These are the ones who lied against their Lord!’ No doubt! the curse of Allaah is upon the zaalimoon (wrongdoers) [cf. Hood 11:18].’” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2441; Muslim, 2768).

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“So as for those whose Scale (of good deeds) will be heavy, they will be the successful (by entering Paradise)”[al-A’raaf 7:8]
“Then as for him whose Balance (of good deeds) will be heavy,
He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise)”[al-Qaari’ah 101:6-7]

Ruling on a believer who commits some sins
The second category: people whose hasanaat and sayi’aat are equal, so their sayi’aat are enough to keep them away from Paradise, but their hasanaat are enough to save them from Hell. These are the people of al-A’raaf (a wall with elevated places) whom Allaah says will stand between Paradise and Hell as long as Allaah wills, then they will be granted permission to enter Paradise, as Allaah says after telling us of the entrance of the people of Paradise to Paradise and the people of Hell to Hell. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And between them will be a (barrier) screen and on Al-A‘raaf (a wall with elevated places) will be men (whose good and evil deeds would be equal in Scale), who would recognise all (of the Paradise and Hell people), by their marks (the dwellers of Paradise by their white faces and the dwellers of Hell by their black faces). And they will call out to the dwellers of Paradise, ‘Salaamun ‘Alaykum’ (peace be on you), and at that time they (men on Al-A‘raaf) will not yet have entered it (Paradise), but they will hope to enter (it) with certainty.

And when their eyes will be turned towards the dwellers of the Fire, they will say: ‘Our Lord! Place us not with the people who are Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers).’

And the men on Al-A‘raaf (the wall) will call unto the men whom they would recognise by their marks, saying: ‘Of what benefit to you were your great numbers (and hoards of wealth), and your arrogance (against Faith)?’

Are they those, of whom you swore that Allaah would never show them mercy. (Behold! It has been said to them): ‘Enter Paradise, no fear shall be on you, nor shall you grieve’”[al-A’raaf 7:46-39]

The third category:  People who will meet Allaah persisting in committing major sins and acts of immorality, so their sayi’aat will outweigh their hasanaat. These are the ones who will deserve to enter Hell in a manner commensurate with their sins. Some of them will be seized by the Fire as far as their ankles, some up to mid-calf, some up to their knees, and for some only the mark of sujood will be spared. These are the ones whom Allaah will permit to be brought forth from the Fire because of the intercession of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He, all the Prophets, the angels, the believers and whoever else Allaah wishes to honour will intercede for them. Whoever among these sinners has more faith and committed less sins will have a lighter punishment and remain in Hell for a shorter period and will be brought forth sooner. Those whose sins were greater and whose faith was weaker, will have a greater punishment and will remain for longer. We ask Allaah to keep us safe and sound from all evils.

This is the situation of the sinful believers in the Hereafter.
With regard to this world, so long as they do not do anything that would put them beyond the pale of Islam, then they are believers whose faith is lacking, as the righteous salaf agreed, basing that on the verses of the Qur’aan and the ahaadeeth of the Prophet. These aayahs include:
“But if the killer is forgiven by the brother (or the relatives) of the killed against blood money, then adhering to it with fairness and payment of the blood money to the heir should be made in fairness”
[al-Baqarah 2:178 – interpretation of the meaning]

So Allaah describes the killer as the brother of the heirs of the victim. This brotherhood is the brotherhood of faith, which indicates that the killer is not regarded as a kaafir, even though killing a believer is one of the most serious of major sins.

And Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And if two parties (or groups) among the believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them both. But if one of them outrages against the other, then fight you (all) against the one that which outrages till it complies with the Command of Allaah. Then if it complies, then make reconciliation between them justly, and be equitable. Verily, Allaah loves those who are the equitable.
The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islamic religion). So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allaah, that you may receive mercy”[al-Hujuraat 49:9-10]

So Allaah described each of the fighting parties as believers, even though fighting is a major sin. Indeed, He described the ones who reconcile between them as being their brothers, which indicates that the one who commits a major sin which does not reach the degree of shirk and kufr is still regarded as a believer and comes under the rulings on believers, but he is lacking in faith. In this way the shar’i texts may be reconciled and support one another. And Allaah knows best.

We spend so much time living life, yet not enough time thinking about what are we doing alive. Ponder over the meaning of life, the purpose of our existence, who is responsible for our creation and what happens when we leave. If you don't want to think about where you came from, at least think about where you are going to go when it's all over.

THE MEANING OF LIFE ..

You had a whole life time to search for God. So please don't be too caught up in life to the point you don't know Who is your Creator. Everything in this world has a creator. But Who Created the plants, planet, human, animals, where did they all come from? They too has a Creator which is Allah S.W.T

"O Muslims! Allah Ta'ala has made this day-(Friday) a day of 'Eid'.
So have a bath on this day, whoever has perfume should apply it, and use the miswaak."

"Then when the (Jumu`ah) Salat is ended, you may disperse through the land, and seek the Bounty of Allah (by working), and remember Allah much: that you may be successful.'' (62:10)

Friday is the best Day of the week. It is the Mothers of all days and the most virtuous in the sight of Allah. In the sight of Allah it has more greatness than Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid –ul-Adha (Reported in Ibn Majah)
Only that believer is graced with the blessings and benefits of Friday, who looks forward for it most anxiously and eagerly ; and wretched is the negligent one who is least interested in it and who does not even know in the morning which day has dawned ( Imam Ghazali says Ihya ul-Ulum)

The secrets, Benefits and Virtues of Friday - (Jumm'ah), main merits

Main merits of holy day of Friday
1. Allah created Adam alayhis salaam on Friday and he was granted entry into jannah on Friday.
2. Adam alayhis salaam was sent to earth on this day as his vicegerent.
3. Adam alayhis salaam died on a Friday.
4. There is a blessed hour on Friday during which a person is granted anything lawful and good by Allah that he prays for.
5. The blessed hour on Friday is such that Duas are answered and accepted,(from my research its an hour in 'Asr to Maghrib)

6. The Day of Qiyamah-Resurrection will be on a Friday. It is on this day that the Trumpet will be blown on Friday; There is neither any angels nearest to Allah nor any heaven nor the earth nor the wind and a sea but all of them fear the Day of Jummah, that is why everything in the heavens and the earth including God's most favourite angels and mountains, rivers etc. stand in awe of Friday.

Abu al-‘Abbas ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas(ra) reports:

“One day I was riding (a horse/camel) behind the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he said, ‘Young man, I will teach you some words. Be mindful of God, and He will take care of you. Be mindful of Him, and you shall find Him at your side. If you ask, ask of God. If you need help, seek it from God. Know that if the whole world were to gather together in order to help you, they would not be able to help you except if God had written so. And if the whole world were to gather together in order to harm you, they would not harm you except if God had written so. The pens have been lifted, and the pages are dry.’ ”

 Commentary Summary

Ibn Abbas was, at most, 13 years old when he was gifted these words of advice by Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Imagine the impression this made on a teenager, who would grow up to be an ocean of knowledge and for whom the Prophet said the prayer, “Allah, give him understanding of the religion, and teach him to discern its meanings.” As we equip children with every means of success, we should not forget to imprint in their memory and hearts these powerful rules to live by.
In another narration, the Prophet says, “Be mindful of Allah, you shall find Him in front of you. Know Allah in times of prosperity so He will know you in times of hardship. Know that whatever passed you by could never have happened, and what happened could never have been avoided. Know that victory comes with patience, relief comes with affliction, and with hardship comes ease.”

Take Care of Your Relationship with Allah

“Be mindful of Allah, He will be mindful of you...” This hadith reveals core truths about the nature of our relationship with Allah. If you take care of your relationship with Him, He will take care of you. Whatever you need or desire, in the end it can only come from Him. This is not to say that we can never ask people for help, but we should understand that ultimately Allah is the source of all help that comes our way. The companions used to ask Allah for help in everything, large or small, even in getting salt for their food.
We sometimes get bogged down with the side issues in our religion: with definitions, fiqh issues, and the differences between us, while forgetting the essence of our relationship with the Creator. The Prophet captured this essence for Ibn Abbas and for all Muslims, and taught us that as long as we turn to Allah, we will be all right. In order to understand we must try it; it is one thing to read about it, and another to actually experience finding Allah at your side in moments of hardship.
The Prophet told us a story of three men who were caught in a storm and sought shelter in a cave. No sooner had they entered the cave than a massive boulder fell and blocked the only exit. The three men called upon Allah to help them, testifying to deeds they had done solely for the sake of Allah, and as each one told the story of their deed, the boulder shifted and they were able to escape. One lesson of this story is that if we are mindful and obedient to Allah in times of ease and enablement, He will be at our side when we are desperate.

Hadith : Be Mindful of Allah and Allah will Protect YouFreedom Through Reliance on Allah

What transformation will take place when we internalize the guidance in this hadith: being mindful of Allah so that He takes care of us; seeking help only of Allah; and understanding that no good or harm, no matter how inevitable it seems, can befall us unless Allah wills? There is tremendous freedom from the hindrances of fear and loneliness when we rely only on Allah. Great acts of courage, patience and independence become possible, because the individual senses the company of Allah by his or her side. When Prophet Ibrahim was about to be burned alive after destroying the idols of his people, the angel Jibreel came to him and asked him, “Do you need help?” Ibrahim replied, “From you? No. As for Allah? Then yes!”
Moreover, the we know that whatever harm Allah has written for us is inevitable, because the “pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.” We can put our hearts and minds to rest, knowing that what is written will come to be no matter what, and Allah will be at our side.

Difficulty Lies Ahead

It is implied in the hadith that there will be challenges and trials for the believer. Perhaps it is in difficulty that the strength and power of the Prophet’s words shine brightest. Hardship is never meant to break us. Even in the darkest moments, there will be unexpected sources of coolness and ease, and always the hope of victory that comes with patience. Allah says in the Quran,

We shall certainly test you with fear and hunger, and loss of property, lives, and crops. But give good news to those who are steadfast. Those who say, when afflicted with a calamity, ‘We belong to God and to Him we shall return.’ These will be given blessings and mercy from their Lord, and it is they who are rightly guided.
(Al-Baqarah 2:155-157)

The virtues and excellence of the first 10 Days of Daul Hijjah in accordance to Qur'an and Ahadith
Beautiful days are yet to come, and beautiful deeds are yet to bloom in sha Allaah. May we all find the arrival of the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah as doors for us to intensify our love for our Creator and passion on doing deeds that are most pleasing to Him, in sha Allaah.

Have enough time to read the follow ayaat and ahadith as pertaining to the excellence of these 10 certain days, in sha Allaah.

[1] ‘Abdullah Ibn’ Abbas (RA) says about the Aayah,

"Remember Allaah during the well known days," that it refers to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
[2] Allaah says;
"By the dawn; by the 10 nights" [al-Fajr 89:1-2].
The virtues and excellence of the first 10 Days of Daul Hijjah in accordance to Qur'an and Ahadith
Note: Ibn Abbaas, Ibn al-Zubayr, Mujaahid and others of the earlier and later generations said that this refers to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.

Ibn Katheer said: "This is the correct opinion." [Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 8/413]

[3] Abu Hurairah (RA) narrates that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu’alaihi wa sallam) said;

"There are no days more loved to Allaah for you to worship Him therein than the ten days of Dhul Hijjah. Fasting any day during it is equivalent to fasting one year and to offer salatul tahajjud (late-night prayer) during one of its nights is like performing the late night prayer on the night of power. [i.e., Lailatul Qadr]."

[4] Ibn’ Umar (RA) narrates;

"On the Day of Nahr (10th of Dhul-Hijja), the Messenger (sallallaahu’alaihi wa sallam) stood in between the Jamrat during his Hajj which he performed (as in the previous Hadith) and said, "This is the greatest Day (i.e. 10th of Dhul-Hijjah)."

The Messenger (sallallaahu’alaihi wa sallam) started saying repeatedly,
"O Allaah! Be Witness (I have conveyed Your Message)."
He then bade the people farewell.
The people said, "(This is Hajjat-al-Wada).”

[5] Abu Qatadah (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu’alaihi wa sallam) said;

"Fasting on the day of ‘Arafah is an expiation for two years, the year preceding it and the year following it. Fasting the day of ‘Ashurah is an expiation for the year preceding it."
[6] Hafsah (RA) reported;

"There are five things that the Messenger (sallallaahu’alaihi wa sallam) never abandoned: fasting the day of ‘Ashurah, fasting the [first] 10 [days of Dhul-Hijjah], fasting 3 days of every month and praying two rak’ah before the dawn prayer."

[7] Ibn’Abbas (RA) reports that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu’alaihi wa sallam) said;

"No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these days [meaning the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah]."
The companions asked, "O Messenger of Allaah, not even jihad in the way of Allaah?"He said, "Not even jihad, except for the man who puts his life and wealth in danger [for Allaah’s sake] and returns with neither of them."
"It is Sunnah to say Takbeer ("Allaahu akbar"), Tahmeed ("Al-hamdu Lillaah"), Tahleel ("La ilaha ill-Allaah") and Tasbeeh ("Subhaan Allaah") during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, and to say it loudly in the mosque, the home, the street and every place where it is permitted to remember Allaah and mention His name out loud, as an act of worship and as a proclamation of the greatness of Allaah, may He be exalted. Men should recite these phrases out loud, and women should recite them quietly."

So, in sha Allaah, with a sincere heart, let us fill these days with such remembrance, passion and love for our Creator, The Almighty Allaah.

Indeed, Allaah is Al Kareem, the Most Generous, so know that indeed He will reward you, in sha Allaah both here in the dunya and in the akhirah. Aim for him, aim for His Pleasure. in sha Allaah. Also, He is Ar Rahman, Ar Raheem, so never despair of His Mercy, in sha Allaah. He forgives those who repent and ask for forgiveness. <3

and we pray that He accepts every good deed from us, and may He also accept the hajj of our fellow brothers and sisters in islam, and that He also forgives them and reward them immensely.

Amin.

Salaam, I've had this issue for a very long time and it has made life very difficult for me. I am a Muslim alhamdulilah but when it comes to praying I lack a lot. As everyone else we all sin however I'm in a relationship which makes me think if I pray and ask for forgiveness it will mean nothing as I am still in a relationship that may not lead to marriage at the moment. I have no idea what to do and it's making me stop my prayers because I feel ashamed when I pray yet I still sin

AsalamuAlaykum I have been in a relationship with a man for over 6 years with the intention of marriage. I have spoken to my father about it but he will not allow us to get married because he is of a different culture (but he is Muslim Alhamdulillah). My mother and other family members agree to the marriage but my father will not approve because of the cultural difference. We don't want to keep doing haram but is my father being unreasonable? What do I do?

How to avoid evil eye ?

Tuesday, September 16, 2014

We can’t ignore the desire to be loved and appreciated as it is one of our innate needs. But we should avoid getting into haram (forbidden) relationships to fulfill our needs. That is why,Islam emphasizes on early Nikkah (Marriage) to let us satisfy our needs in a halal way. Our spouses are our garments and we are meant to find peace and tranquility in them.

However, some of our brothers and sisters are having a hard time getting married and some don’t feel loved even after their marriage takes place.

Some people face severe depression due to this and start feeling worthless. Some even feel they can’t really enjoy their lives until and unless someone loves them unconditionally. Some people even say they will start praying after they get married.

It is very important to address our emotional needs and keep them balanced. If you are unable to get married right now or dont feel loved by your spouse, you should realize that your life does not end there. There is much more to life than giving in to your emotions and desires.
Do you FEEL ALONE and want to be LOVED?

Things are not in our control above a certain point. We can make dua to Allah to help us find loving and caring spouses and have tawakkul (faith) in Him. But, if it does not happen rightaway, we should not feel hopeless. Allah knows what’s best for us and He will give us that on the right time.

Why do we care so much if a guy/girl does not love us? What about the love that Allah has for all of us? He loves us more than anyone ever can and does not even ask for anything in return. Yet, we give our heart to this world instead of giving it to its Creator.

Loving Allah subhaanahu wa ta’aala and His Prophet [Peace be upon him], following the teachings of Islam and attaining Jannah should be our ultimate goal.

Maryam (Peace be upon her) who was the mother of Prophet Isa Alaihissalaam did not have a husband. Asiyah bint Muzahim was the wife of Fir`awn who was the most tyrannical among the people of the earth and the most disbelieving.Yet she was not affected by her husband’s disbelief, because she obeyed her Lord and attained great ranks. Both of them are among the best women of Jannah.

Some of the Prophets, such as Prophet Lut and Prophet Nuh alaihissalaam had disbelieving wives but that did not stop them from their actual goals. Their LOVE FOR ALLAH was enough for them.

Love Allah and become less reliant on others to feel loved. When your happiness will be dependant on Allah alone, nothing and no one will be able to take that away from you. Your smile will not fade even if you are not loved by any human in this world because the love of Allah will suffice all your needs.

Instead of desperately looking for love, work on developing yourself into a stronger, more knowledgeable and a better Muslim and in sha Allah, everything else will fall into place.

Dua to gain ALLAH’S LOVE: Join us in this beautiful dua

”O Allah! I ask You for Your Love and the love of those who love You, and deeds which will cause me to attain Your Love. O Allah! Make Your Love dearer to me than myself, my family and the cold water”

Allaahumma inni as’aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wal-‘amalalladhi yuballighuni hubbaka. Allaahumm-aj’al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi, wa ahli, wa minal-maa’il-baarid

Not attached to the Qur’an?

Here, let me tell you about a person who was ultimately attached to the Qur’an, that his love for the Qur’an made him more loved by those who read about him.

I am talking about, 'Uthman Ibn Affan Radiyallahu Anhu. It is fascinating how Muslims know so much about Abu Bakr, ‘Umar and ‘Ali Radiyallahu Anhum yet not much on ‘Uthmaan when he has reigned the longest amongst the Rashidun Caliphs.

So here is something about this great man.

When Islam was born, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam made sure that the Muslims acquired their concepts from one source only and that was the Noble Qur’an and it was through this method that ‘Uthman and all the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum was educated.

'Uthman was deeply attached to the Noble Qur'an. He learned the Qur'an from the blessed lips of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam. The verses from which 'Uthman heard directly from the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam played a role in the formation of his Islamic personality. They purified his heart and soul and influenced him. Thus, 'Uthman became a new man, with new values, emotions, aims, behavior and aspirations.

He was among the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum who taught others the Qur’an.

Abu ‘Abd Al Rahman Al Sulami said:

Those who taught us the Qur’an (such as ‘Uthman Ibn Affan, Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud) told us that when they learned ten verses from the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam they would not go beyond them until they had learned the knowledge contained in them and how to apply it in deed.

They said: “So we learned the Qur’an and knowledge and its application together.”

Hence, they would spend a while to memorize a surah.

'Uthman was a hafiz of the Qur’an, and he read Qur’an all the time. Before the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam passed away, 'Uthman recited the entire Qur'an back at him, just like how a teacher would listen to his student after teaching him everything he knew.

One instance that would highlight the memory and attachment of ‘Uthman to the Qur’an was whenever he prayed qiyam al-layl (tahajjud).
Uthman Ibn Affan Radiyallahu Anhu

The wife of ‘Uthman said on the day when he was besieged:

"Either kill him or leave him alone, for by Allah, he would recite the WHOLE QUR’AN in ONE RAK’AT when praying QIYAM AL LAYL."
_____

Allahuakbar! The love and dedication of ‘Uthman Radiyallahu Anhu is just amazing.
O Muslims, ponder and reflect from this great caliph, he would recite the whole Qur’an in one rak’at when most of us can’t even stand the waiting when the Imam reads a surah that is quite longer that Al Faitha! Astagfirullah!

Indeed, whenever we talk of ‘Uthman, one ayah will always come to our mind:

"Is one who is obedient to Allah, prostrating himself or standing (in prayer) during the hours of the night, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the Mercy of his Lord (like one who disbelieves)?" - Qur’an 39:9

O Muslims Allah has set standards by making you Muslims and believers, so give justice to this, honor Allah for He have honored you well than anything other thing can ever honor you in this dunya, and know that this honor He has given you is never-ending, it will be with you until your journey to the akhirah, so wear it accordingly!
_____

And we pray that Allah Azza Wa Jall puts such love for the Qur’an in our hearts just like how He has placed love for the Qur’an upon the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum.
Amin.

Salam. How can I be closer to Allah(SWT)?

Wa’alaikum salaam.
Try to remember Him in everything you do. When you wake up in the morning, try to remember Him and how He has blessed you with another day. When you go to work or school, try to remember how He has blessed you with a means for education or income. When you speak, remember He is listening. When you act, remember He is watching.

When we stay in His remembrance, not only do we become more grateful for His blessings, but we become more cautious of our actions.

How can I be closer to Allah(SWT)?

Remembering Him during an argument helps us to be patient. Remembering Him in gatherings helps us to behave politely and respectfully. Remembering Him in anything helps us maintain good intentions for what ever it is we’re doing.

I could suggest that you fast, or increase your prayers, or give charity - but none of that will bring you close to Allaah unless you do it sincerely for His sake and truly out of His remembrance. So the key is remembering Him as often as we can.

You’ll notice yourself that over time you’ve increased in patience, kindness, and naturally, piety. Because when we beautify ourselves from the inside, our outwardly actions reflect.
May Allaah preserve you and make you amongst those under His shade, ameen.

How can I be closer to Allah(SWT)?

It is not permissible to delay the prayer beyond its time because of work. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Men whom neither trade nor sale (business) diverts from the remembrance of Allaah (with heart and tongue) nor from performing As‑Salaah (Iqaamat‑as‑Salaah) nor from giving the Zakaah. They fear a Day when hearts and eyes will be overturned (out of the horror of the torment of the Day of Resurrection).
is it permissible to delay the prayer beyond its time because of work

That Allaah may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace. And Allaah provides without measure to whom He wills”
[al-Noor 24:37-38]
So you must organize your time at work in a way that will not interfere with your performing the prayers on time and work out an agreement on a suitable solution with the administration, even if that causes you some difficulty, such as working extra hours, for example. Note that the benefits of increased faith in your heart that you will get as a result of praying on time will compensate for any difficulties you encounter, and that hardship will turn to joy – in sha Allaah – because you will be putting up with it for the sake of Allaah and seeking His pleasure.

May Allah guide us to the straight path.
Ameen

And he smiles, generously.

Subhan’Allah.

Have you ever thought of that day when you see him smile at you? Ma sha Allah.

Indeed, a lot of narrations have said that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam smiled generously to the people during his prophethood, or even before he became a Messenger.

Here’s a story that story that highlights the love of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam to the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum.

The Day The Prophet Smile At You It’s just so beautiful. subhan’Allah, get your tissues ready.
_____

During the last days of the final illness of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, he became so sick that when it was time for prayer, he couldn’t lead the prayer. so he ordered Abu Bakr Radiyallahu Anhu to lead the prayers.

Abu Bakr continued to lead the people in prayer until Monday, when the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam removed the screen of his apartment just as the Muslims were busy lining up for prayer. While they were praying he lay there, watching them and appreciating how far they had come in recent years.

Just as a carpenter gives his work a final look of appraisal, the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam was looking at the finished products of his many years of toil and sacrifice.

He was greatly pleased because he was looking at people who were devotedly performing congregational prayer, without his supervision. The Prophet’s heart was content, for this was something no other Prophet had achieved before him.

The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam was reassured that after his death his Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum would continue where he left off. Such thoughts filled the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam with joy, made his face radiate with happiness, and gave him the strength to stand up.

Meanwhile, the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum said, “The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam has removed the screen of ‘Aishah’s Radiyallahu Anha apartment and is looking at us while he is standing up.” Furthermore, they saw that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam was smiling and laughing.

Out of love for the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, some people mistook this as a sign of his recovery. They thought that he was coming out to lead them in prayer but he signaled to them that they should complete their prayer. He then entered the apartment and lowered the screen.
_____

Subhan’Allah. Imagine that moment, that precious moment where you see the face of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam smiling because he sees you doing your obligations, subhan’Allah.

How beautiful was that moment.

One can just imagine how his face would have lit and smiled generously.

Now, I ask you to have a moment with yourself, and ponder about the things that you have been doing, all the missed and skipped salat, answering back to your parents that you have done, do you think you will earn such status when you finally return back to Allah Azza Wa Jall with all these deeds you have been doing?

Wallahi, my brothers and sisters in Islam, it is up to us on how we would earn Paradise, yes we need the guidance, protection, blessings and forgiveness of Allah Azza Wa Jall but before anything of that, we have to have the "will" to become better and become closer to Him.

Ponder hard.

There’s still time to change to be better, if you are faltering on your salah, then get up and prepare for the next salah right now, make wudhu and feed your soul with the Qur’an.

If you have talked bad about someone, then make use of you phone and call that person and ask forgiveness, if you have answered back to your parents, then right now, get up and ask for their forgiveness, do not ever let a moment pass that you do not settle things with them.

Redeem your soul, start now, make the intention right now.
_____

May Allah Azza Wa Jall accept our good deeds and forgive us and grant us the ranks of the righteous, in companionship with His Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, and finally witness that smile that the Sahabah Radiyallahu Anhum saw.

Amin.
