Strive to get closer to Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala. Alwaysremember that Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala plans are better than our wishes.Make lots of dua and while asking Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala always say “if it’s good for me” because we don’t know what’s good for us only Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala knows. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala loves us more than our mother so His decisions are always for our own good and we have to trust Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
“But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.” (Quran 2:216)
How to let go of the past? How to finally move with Allah's help and blessing?

Always remember this:
“No amount of guilt can change the past and no amount of worrying can change the future. Go easy on yourself for the outcome of all affairs is determined by the decree of Allah. If something is meant to go elsewhere, it will never come on your way, but if it is yours by destiny, from you it cannot flee.”
Umar ibn al Khattab (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu)
Here are some tips to get closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala that will help you in shaa Allah.
1.If we want to get closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, we have to fulfill our obligatory duties and follows the command of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and his messenger (peace be upon him) wholeheartedly.
2.Being God conscious, always keep in mind that whatever we do, we have to be accountable to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and He’s watching us all the time.
3.Whenever we do a good work, always make the intention that you are doing this to please Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
4.Be thankful to Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala in every situation and be happy with the Allah decree.
5.Try to do dhikr all the time, it will make us closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
Following are some dhikr that we can do all the time:
1. Asthaghfirullah

2. Subhaanallah

3. Alhamdulillah

4. Allahu Akbar

5. Laa ilaaha illallah

6. LA HAWLA WA LA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH-HIL ALIYYIL ADHEEM

7. Asthaghfirullah-halladhee Laa ilaaha illa-huwal Hayyul Qayyuumu Wa athoobu Ilay

OrAsthaghfirullah

8. SUB-HAAN’ALLAAHi WA BI-HAM’DIHI SUB-HAAN’ALLAH-IL ADHEEM

OrSUB-HAAN’ALLAAHi WA BI-HAM’DIHI

9. Subhāna-llāhi, wa-l-hamdu li-llāhi, wa lā ilāha illā-llāhu, wa-llāhu akbar. Wa lā hawla wa lā quwwata illā bi-llāhi-l-aliyyi-l-azīm

10. Lā ilāha illā-llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-ḥamdu yuhyi wa yumītu wa huwa ḥayyu-llā yamūtu abadan abada, ḏū-l-jalāli wa-l-ikrām, biyadihi-l-khayr, wa huwa alā kulli Shay-in qadīr

Or

Laa ilaaha illal-laahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shay-in qadeer

We should also recite much of durood e Ibrahim which is the durood that is recited towards the end of Salaah.

Or the shortest durood is: Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallim
6. Dua and Repentence:
Almighty Allah says in the Qur’an: ”When my servants ask you concerning me, (tell them) I am indeed close (to them). I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calls on me.” [2:186]

The place of Dua is so high in front of Allah, that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallim) has said: ”Nothing is more honourable to Allah the Most High than Dua.”[Sahih al-Jami` no.5268].

Allah loves repentance & loves those who turn to him in sincere repentance:

Truly Allah loves those who turn [to Him] in repentance… (Qur’an 2:222)

Narrated ‘Ubaadah that the Messenger of Allah said, “Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and believing women, Allah will write for him a good deed for EACH believing man and believing woman.” (Tabarrani)

Subhanallah this deed can be done in EVERY dua and can you imagine how many rewards can be gained for each and every Muslim you make dua for from Adam alayhis ‘salam until now and the last Muslim on earth. This is the easiest way to earn rewards that go into the billions and the more you make these dua’s then the more your good deed account will get filled!
7. Have friends that make you close to Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala, not those whose company make you forget Allah.
8. Turn to Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala for every little problem and ask for his help.
Listen to Islamic lectures, fix your prayers and try to do dhikr it will help in shaa Allah. I hope it will be helpful. May Allah guide us to the straight path.
Ameen

We can’t ignore the desire to be loved and appreciated as it is one of our innate needs. But we should avoid getting into haram (forbidden) relationships to fulfill our needs. That is why,Islam emphasizes on early Nikkah (Marriage) to let us satisfy our needs in a halal way. Our spouses are our garments and we are meant to find peace and tranquility in them.

Do you FEEL ALONE and want to be LOVED?However, some of our brothers and sisters are having a hard time getting married and some don’t feel loved even after their marriage takes place.

Some people face severe depression due to this and start feeling worthless. Some even feel they can’t really enjoy their lives until and unless someone loves them unconditionally. Some people even say they will start praying after they get married.

It is very important to address our emotional needs and keep them balanced. If you are unable to get married right now or dont feel loved by your spouse, you should realize that your life does not end there. There is much more to life than giving in to your emotions and desires.

Things are not in our control above a certain point. We can make dua to Allah to help us find loving and caring spouses and have tawakkul (faith) in Him. But, if it does not happen rightaway, we should not feel hopeless. Allah knows what’s best for us and He will give us that on the right time.

Why do we care so much if a guy/girl does not love us? What about the love that Allah has for all of us? He loves us more than anyone ever can and does not even ask for anything in return. Yet, we give our heart to this world instead of giving it to its Creator.
Loving Allah subhaanahu wa ta’aala and His Prophet [Peace be upon him], following the teachings of Islam and attaining Jannah should be our ultimate goal.

Maryam (Peace be upon her) who was the mother of Prophet Isa Alaihissalaam did not have a husband. Asiyah bint Muzahim was the wife of Fir`awn who was the most tyrannical among the people of the earth and the most disbelieving.Yet she was not affected by her husband’s disbelief, because she obeyed her Lord and attained great ranks. Both of them are among the best women of Jannah.
Some of the Prophets, such as Prophet Lut and Prophet Nuh alaihissalaam had disbelieving wives but that did not stop them from their actual goals. Their LOVE FOR ALLAH was enough for them.

Love Allah and become less reliant on others to feel loved. When your happiness will be dependant on Allah alone, nothing and no one will be able to take that away from you. Your smile will not fade even if you are not loved by any human in this world because the love of Allah will suffice all your needs.

Instead of desperately looking for love, work on developing yourself into a stronger, more knowledgeable and a better Muslim and in sha Allah, everything else will fall into place.

Dua to gain ALLAH’S LOVE: Join us in this beautiful dua

”O Allah! I ask You for Your Love and the love of those who love You, and deeds which will cause me to attain Your Love. O Allah! Make Your Love dearer to me than myself, my family and the cold water”

Allaahumma inni as’aluka hubbaka, wa hubba man yuhibbuka, wal-‘amalalladhi yuballighuni hubbaka. Allaahumm-aj’al hubbaka ahabba ilayya min nafsi, wa ahli, wa minal-maa’il-baarid
(At-Tirmidhi)

Ibn al-Qayyim – rahimahullâh – says:
“The reasons which cause mahabbah of Allâh to develop, are ten:
Firstly: Reciting the Qur‘ân, reflecting and understanding its meaning and its intent.
 “Developing Love for Allâh
Secondly: Drawing closer to Allâh – the Most High – through optional deeds, after fulfilling the obligatory duties.
Thirdly: Being continuous in the dhikr (remembrance) of Allâh, with the tongue, the heart and the limbs – under all circumstances. The more constant the dhikr, the more mahabbah develops and intensifies.
Fourthly: Giving precedence to what Allâh loves over personal loves, when being overcome by desires.
Fifthly: Contemplating and deliberating over the Names and Attributes of Allâh.
Sixthly: Recognizing and remembering the favours and bounties of Allâh – both the manifest and hidden.
Seventhly: To be humble and submissive before Allâh – and this is the greatest matter.
Eightly: To be in seclusion reciting the Qur‘ân, during that time in which Allâh descends to the lowest heaven (which is the last third of every night), finishing this recitation with seeking Allâh’s forgiveness and repenting to Him.
Ninthly: To sit in the gatherings of true and sincere lovers of Allâh, reaping the fruits of their speech, and not to speak except if there is benefit in it and that you know that such talk will increase you in goodness and that it will benefits others as well.
Tenthly: To stay clear of all those causes which distances the heart from Allâh – the Mighty and Majestic.
So these are the ten reasons which cause the person to develop true love for Allâh and to reach the rank of al-muhabbah, by which he reaches his Beloved.

10 TIPS ON HOW TO CONCENTRATE DURING SALAT (PRAYERS)1. Before standing up for Prayer, try to deal with all the minor urgent matters which demand your attention. If you are pressed by hunger, eat first; if you are pressed to attend to the call of nature, relieve yourself; if you are the parent of an infant, feed him or her, or keep him or her busy.

2. Perform your wudu’ (ablution) well, paying …due care and attention.

3. Approach the Prayer with zest and passion as if it is the last prayer in your life before dying. Actually the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us that we could do nothing in this world that could ever surpass Prayer in merit and excellence.

4. Visualize that in your Prayer you are going to have a special audience with Allah, Lord of the worlds, and that you are enjoying a direct communion with Him—which, in fact, is true.

5. Think of the Prayer you are performing as if it were the last Prayer of your life. In fact, it could very well be the last one, since no one is given a guarantee that he would live to perform another Prayer.

6. Picture the scene of the Last Day when people will be lined up into two , one destined for Heaven, and another for Hell, and ask yourself where you would be placed.

7. Focus your mind on what you are reading in your Prayer and recite simple surah
that you understand it’s meaning and ponder on the meaning whiles u recite.

8. If, in spite of your best efforts, your mind is still wandering, seek refuge in Allah and bring your mind back to Prayer.

9. Pray to Allah and beg Him to grant you true the joy of concentrating in your Prayer and protection against the wanderings of your mind.

10. Place your eyesight to the one spot where you will be making your sujud while you recite and avoid taking your eyes from that spot.

May Allah protect us from the tricks of shaitan during prayers and forgive us our mistakes.
Ameen!

Following are some tips that will help us to soften ourheart:
1.      Dua(Supplication): Nothing softens the heart more than asking Allah to soften it and make it merciful. In his supplications, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would often say,
”I seek refuge in You, O Allah, from a heart that does not fear (You).” (Ahmed)
2.       Reading Quran
3.       Being God conscious, always keep in mind that whatever we do, we have to be accountable to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and He’s watching us all the time.
"the skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (when they recite it or hear it). Then their skin and their heart soften to the remembrance of Allah." [39:23]
tips that will help us to soften ourheart

4.       Remember death often it is the cutter of delights. The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said:“Remember often the destroyer and cutter off of delights, which is death.” (Sunnan Trimidhi:2229)
5.       Repentence: Allah loves repentance & loves those who turn to him in sincere repentance:

Truly Allah loves those who turn [to Him] in repentance… (Qur’an 2:222)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:If anyone continually asks pardon, Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress, and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide for him from where he did not reckon.(Abu Dawud)
6.       Remembrance of Allah: Try to do dhikr all the time. Following are some easy dhikr that are light on tongue but heavy on the scales:
1.Hadhrat Jaa’bir [Ra] narrated that Rasulallah(Peace be upon him) said: “For the person who recites SUB-HAN’ALLAH HIL AZEEM WA BI-HAM’DIHI, [Pure and perfect is Allah in his glory and praise], - A date palm will be planted for him in Paradise” (Tirmidhi)
Another Narration says:
2.Forgiveness for Sins Even Though they are like the Foam of the Sea: Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “Whoever says‘Subhan Allaahi Wa bihamdihi, {Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise}. One hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea. (Bukhari, Book #75, Hadith #414)
3,Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: ”Is anyone of you incapable of earning one thousand Hasanah (rewards) a day?” Someone from the gathering asked, "How can anyone of us earn a thousand Hasanah?" Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: “Glorify Allah a hundred times by just saying “Subhanallah” and a Good deeds will be written for you, or a thousand sins will be wiped away.” (Muslim 4:2073)
4.Narrated ‘Ubaadah that the Messenger of Allah said, “Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and believing women, Allah will write for him a good deed for each believing man and believing woman.” (Tabarrani)
I hope it will be helpful. May Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala forgive us and guide us to the straight path.
Ameen
