Incident Before The Battle of Badr
An Incident Before The Battle of Badr, Showing The Love The Sahaba Had For The Messenger of Allah ﷺ

Sheikh Anwar Al Awlaki (rh) explaining the hadith from Abu Dawud:

Rusool Allah ﷺ was straightening the lines of the ranks as if he was straightening the lines for prayer and he was holding an arrow in his hands. He came up to one of the soldiers, Sawad bin Ghuazzaiyya, who was protruding a bit from the line. So Rusool Allah ﷺ slightly nudged him back with his arrow.

Sawad said, “Oh Rusool Allah you have hurt me, I want to retaliate.”

This was just before the battle. Here was one soldier who was saying to The Prophet of Allah that he wants to retaliate with him.

So Rusool Allah ﷺ exposed his stomach to Sawad and said “Go ahead and retaliate.”

Rusool Allah ﷺ didn’t get angry, he didn’t ask his soldiers to throw him in prison, because a soldier is talking to the head of the military in such a fashion. He simply allowed him to retaliate.

So Sawad (ra) hugs Rusool Allah ﷺ and he kisses his stomach. That was his retaliation.

Rusool Allah ﷺ asked Sawad why did he do that?

Incident Before The Battle of Badr

Sawad (ra) said, “Oh Messenger of Allah, you can see what is about to happen. I wanted my last contact with you to be my skin touching yours.”

Sawad (ra) was saying that he might die during the battle, they were facing death then. The last thing he wanted in this world was to make his skin touch Rusool Allah’s ﷺ skin. This was how much they loved Rusool Allah ﷺ.

Sawad (ra) who was accidentally hurt by Rusool Allah ﷺ used this opportunity to kiss and hug Rusool Allah ﷺ. The Muslims did not think that because of Rusool Allah ﷺ, they were having to fight or even death. They all were willingly ready to face death for the sake of Allah Azzawajal and his servant and Messenger ﷺ.

Rusool Allah then made dua for Sawad. (he was later martyred in the battle).

It is this love for Muhammed ﷺ that we need to develop. Love for Muhammed ﷺ isnt words, poetry, or singing. Love for him means putting everything on the line for Muhammed ﷺ our wealth, family, money, children, our talents, everything that we can sacrifice.

We should love Rusool Allahs ﷺ Message, his way, and his Sunnah. We should also ask Allah Azzawajal to make us love his Shari’a.

The Fruits Of Iman - A True Revert’s Story

Ibn Al Qayyim (rahimuhullah) he says, speaking about these voids…

Listen!

Listen wallahi to these heart softening words…

'In the heart of every human being there is a sense of scattering which cannot be brought back together except by turning to Allah.'

'And in the heart of every human being there is a sense of loneliness which cannot be put out except by being close to Allah.'

'And In the heart of every human being there is anxiety and there is a sense of fear and unease which cannot be removed except by fleeing to Allah.'

'And in the heart of every human being there is a sense of guilt and regret, which cannot be removed except by being pleased and content with Allah.'

Subhan’Allah.

There are many Muslims who view their religion through different colored lenses, thereby altering their perspective of it.

There are those who restrict Islam only to the Qur’an. They feel that the Book of Allaah is the be all and end all of their religion. Often times, when you say something to them, their immediate response would be, "is it in the Qur’an?"

An example of such a conversation:
Person A: “Akhi, you have to keep your beard. It is not permissible to shave it all off”

Person B: ”Is it in the Qur’an? Does Allaah say in the Qur’an that men have to keep their beard?

Person A: “No.. it is not in the Qur’an, but….”
Person B: "Then it’s not a must. If it’s not in the Qur’an, we don’t have to do it."

This is extreme ignorance of the fundamentals of the deen. Yes, the Qur’an is the core and the foundation upon which the deen of Islam is built, but it is not independent of the Messenger to whom it was revealed.

You can never separate the two, because the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم is the embodiment of the Qur’an and his Sunnah is the explanation of it. As it comes in his saying:

“I have left with you that which when you hold fast to it, you will never go astray after me; the Book of Allaah and my Sunnah.” [Saheeh al-Jaami‘ #2937]

Then we have those who do value the Qur’an and the Sunnah equally, but have a flawed understanding of these two sources.

If you look at all the various sects within Islam, you will find all of them claiming to be upon the Qur’an and the Sunnah, and will even quote you authentic ahadith, yet each of these groups have a different interpretation of these two sources.

I will give you a very simple example

Allaah سبحانه و تعالى states in Surah Al-Hijr - (15:99)
وَاعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ الْيَقِينُ
“And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty.”
How We Should Look At Islamic Religion ?
The extreme Sufis claim that once certainty comes to you that Allaah is your Lord, you are in no need of worshiping Him, so you abandon the five daily prayers etc. Because you have gained a level of certainty which exempts you from worshiping Allaah because of this verse in the Quraan!

And anyone with a sound intellect will not fall for such shenanigans. However, some people have fallen for them and do not worship Allaah thinking they have reached certainty, or worship these individuals because they have managed to attain this level.
Now if we look at the way the Salaf were, you will see that they were at the foremost in worshiping Allaah سبحانه و تعالى correctly and spared no avenues of worship.

Does it mean they did not reach certainty?
And if we take it right to the top we will see that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم worshiped his Lord till his last breath.

So from there you can see the incorrect understanding of a verse of the Quraan.

And as for the understanding of the Salaf, they said regarding this verse:

“And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty.” (15: 99).

Imaam Al-Bukhari said: “Salim said, (This means) death.” This Salim is Salim bin `Abdullah bin `Umar ibn Al-Khattaab رضي الله عنهم.

Ibn Jarir also recorded from Salim bin `Abdullah; (And worship your Lord until the Yaqin comes to you.) He said, “Death.” [Tafsir Ibn Katheer]

So we have been commanded to worship Allaah سبحانه و تعالى as long as we are of sound mind and until death comes to us.

If you look at the history of the Khawaarij (a deviant group which calls to the bloodshed of Muslims and revolting against the Muslims leaders) you will find that they used the verses of the Quraan to incite people against the fourth Khalifah Ali ibn Abi Talib رضي الله عنه and they ended up killing him.

What did they use? The verses of the Quraan. However, their understanding was an understanding other than that of the Salaf (Sahabah, Tabi’een and the Taba Tabi’een).

And the list goes on and on and on with examples of such misunderstandings and misinterpretation of the Speech of Allaah, the Most High.

This is why the deciding factor is the understanding of the Qur’an and the Sunnah. That understanding can only be taken from the ‘Salaf’ (The pious predecessors).

Narrated Irbaad ibn Saariyah رضي الله عنه: “The Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم gave us a sermon which frightened the hearts and caused the eyes to shed tears. So we said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah! [it is as if it is a farewell sermon] so advise us.’ He said,
‘I advise you to fear Allaah and to hear and obey even if an Abyssinian slave were to rule over you.

For surely, he who lives from amongst you will see much differing, so it is upon you to be upon my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs.

Bite on to it with your back molar teeth and beware of newly invented matters, for verily, every newly invented matter is an innovation, and all innovation is misguidance.’

Related by Aboo Daawood (no. 4607) and by at-Tirmidthee (no. 2676).

It was authenticated by Shaykh al-Albaanee in Irwaa’ul-Ghaleel (no. 2455).

There is even a term for the correct understanding and implementation of the sources of Islam, did you know? It is called Tawqeefiyyah.

Tawqeefiyyah within the religion of Islaam, is to stop and limit ones statements and actions to what Allaah said in His Book, Al-Qur’aan and what His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم said, ordered, did and approved upon within his Sunnah.

These are our only two sources of Al-Ilm (knowledge), which must be understood as As-Sahaabah (the Companions of Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم) understood them. Without deviation, alteration or change.

Once a Muslim young man loved a Christian girl, they wanted to get married but her parents did not accept because he was a Muslim! It was a big dilemma for them! But they both loved each other sincerely and thought nothing should separate them.

One day, the Muslim man got very ill and was dying, he was on the death bed. A friend of his was beside him, he told him: Say Shahadah, say La Ilaha Illa llah Muhammadun Rasulullah, but the Muslim man didn’t say it, he cried and told his friend: I’m afraid that if I die as Muslim I will not find my beloved in the hereafter!! So I want to become Christian hopefully I will meet her in the hereafter!! And he became Christian!!

He came out of Islam, he became a murtad! And right after he went out of Islam he died! So he died as a non-Muslim.

The girl that he used to love came asking about her lover, she found his friend, she asked him: Have you seen that person (her lover)? He sadly told her that he died! But he did not tell her that he went out of Islam (Apostated). She was very sad and cried, and said: I fear not to meet him in the hereafter, So I bear witness that there’s no God except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah! She embraced Islam!

Later on she died, and died as a Muslim and her lover had died as a non-Muslim, she won Paradise and lost him, and he lost her and lost paradise and got hellfire.

SubhanAllah, one should  remain steadfast onto Islam and keep the intention in the heart that I will live and die as a Muslim and stay patient over the hardships and calamities, and Allah will reward tremendously.

”Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims.” AMEEN
Rabbana afrigh Aalayna sabran watawaffana muslimeen
 [Al-A’raf,7:126]

You may spend ur whole life trying to attain someone else’s love only to realize that u became stronger& better without it.However, when it comes to the love of Allah u wil only become stronger &a better person with it.

‎”O Allah I ask You for Your Love & the love of those whom You Love & the actions that will cause me to attain Your Love,O Allah make Your love more beloved to me than myself,my family & cold water”

1. Dress up for your wife, look clean and smell good. Just like the husband wants his wife to look nice for him, she also wants her husband to dress up for her too. Remember that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) would always start with Miswak when returning home and always loved the sweetest smells.

2. Use the best names for your wife. Call your wife by the most beloved names to her, and avoid using names that hurt their feelings.

3. Don’t treat her like a fly. We never think about a fly in our daily lives until it ‘bugs’ us. Similarly, a wife will do well all day – which brings no attention from the husband – until she does something to ‘bug’ him. Don’t treat her like this; recognize all the good that she does and focus on that.

4. If you see wrong from your wife, try being silent and do not comment! This is one of the ways the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) used when he would see something inappropriate from his wives . It’s a technique that few Muslim men have mastered.

5. Smile at your wife whenever you see her and embrace her often. Smiling is Sadaqah and your wife is not exempt from the Muslim Ummah. Imagine life with her constantly seeing you smiling. Remember also those Ahadith when the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) would kiss his wife before leaving for Salaah, even when he was fasting.

6. Thank her for all that she does for you. Then thank her again! Take for example a dinner at your house. She makes the food, cleans the home, and a dozen other tasks to prepare. And sometimes the only acknowledgment she receives is that there needed to be more salt in the soup. Don’t let that be; thank her!

7. Ask her to write down the last ten things you did for her that made her happy. Then go and do them again. It may be hard to recognize what gives your wife pleasure. You don’t have to play a guessing game, ask her and work on repeating those times in your life.

8. Don’t belittle her desires. Comfort her. Sometimes the men may look down upon the requests of their wives. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) set the example for us in an incident when Safiyyah (RA) was crying because, as she said, he had put her on a slow camel. He wiped her tears, comforted her, and brought her the camel.

9. Be humorous and play games with your wife. Look at how the Prophet (saw) would race with his wife Aisha (radiallahu anha) in the desert. When was the last time we did something like that?

10. Always remember the words of Allah’s Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wasallam): ‘The best of you are those who treat their families the best. And I am the best amongst you to my family.’ Try to be the best!

Make dua to Allah ta’ala to make your marriage successful. And Allah Ta’ala knows best!!

Speaking of reading books - GUESS WHAT BOOK LIAM NEESON WAS SEEN READING?

You guessed 'Quran' - Right?
If you did, then you are absolutely RIGHT!

(1) That Allah, the Exalted, wipes away sins by the five prayers.
(2) That the five prayers are an expiation for what occurs between them, if major sins are avoided.
(3) That sins burn and destroy a person, and thus it is necessary to extinguish that with the prayers.
(4) That the Muslim reaches the level of the truthful and the martyrs on account of his prayers, charity and fasting.
(5) The superiority of prayer over other actions. [Its condition is that the creed [‘aqeedah] of the person is correct, sound and in accordance with that of the Pious Predecessors of this Ummah.]
(6) That Allaah, the Exalted, bestowed a favor upon that Companion by entering him into Paradise before his brother who died as a martyr because he prayed more than he.
(7) That the prayer is light which illuminates the path of the servant in this world and the Hereafter.
(8) That an abundance of prostrations and prayers is the way to accompany the Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) in Paradise.
(9) That a two-rak’ah prayer is more loved by the dead person than the world and whatever is in it.
(10) That emptying the heart for Allaah in the prayer puts a person in the same condition as the day when his mother gave birth to him.
Summary of the Lessons and Benefits of Prayer - Ibn al-Qayyim

(11) That should a person enter the Fire, refuge is sought from that, the angels will remove him from it and will recognize him by the marks of prostration. [The condition for being removed from the fire due to the intercession of the angels (and others) is that a person should be from the People of Tawheed. Intercession is only for the People of Tawheed.]
(12) That the prayer participates in undoing the knots which Satan places at the top of one’s head.
(13) That the night prayer is the most excellent prayer after the obligatory prayers.
(14) That the one who prays at night obtains a reward which most of mankind do not.
(15) Gratitude is shown to Allaah with the (obligatory) prayer and night prayer.
(16) That the prayer most loved by Allaah is the prayer of Daawood (‘alaihisallaam) which is to pray for a third of the night and to sleep for two-thirds of the night.
(17) That as Allaah has bestowed a favor upon His servant by the hour during the night in which the supplication is answered, it is befitting for the Muslim to aspire to it and seek to find it so that he is given the good of this world and the Hereafter.
(18) That the night prayer is an evidence for righteousness and taqwaa, and it expiates the sins and prevents one from falling into them.
(19) That Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, covers the husband and wife – who help each other in performing the night prayer – with His Mercy. If one of them refuses, the other sprinkles water on his or her face.
(20) That two units of prayer at night make a person amongst the men who remember Allaah often or the women who remember Allaah often.
(21) That Allaah is amazed by the man who gets up from his sleep, leaving his bedsheet, his wife and his love for her in order to perform prayer. Allaah laughs because of him and informs the angels about him.
(22) That there is no jealousy or competition except with regard to two men, one of whom prays at night reciting the Qur’aan which Allaah has bestowed upon him.
(23) That whoever recited ten aayaat in the night (in prayer) will not be written amongst the heedless, a Qintaar of reward will be written for him and Allaah, the Exalted, will say to him, “Recite and rise by one degree with every aayah,” until he comes to the last aayah he knows. Allaah favors him by giving him eternity.
(24) That whoever prays at night with a hundred aayaat is written amongst the devout worshippers, and whoever prays with a thousand aayaat is written amongst the Muqantareen, and whoever prays with two-hundred aayaat is written amongst the devout worshippers and sincere ones.
(25) That the one who walks to the prayer (in the mosque) is raised in ranks and has his sins removed, both while he goes to the mosque and when he returns from it.
(26) That for every step he takes, he receives ten good deeds.
(27) That the Muslim is written amongst the worshippers from the time he leaves the house till he returns to it.
(28) That the one receiving the greatest reward for the prayer is the one who walks the furthest towards it and then the one further than him (from the mosque).
(29) That one step which a servant takes to the prayer in congregation is counted as an act of charity for him.
(30) That taking many steps towards the mosque is from ar-Ribaat (guarding the frontiers).
(31) That every time a servant leaves for the mosque in the morning or the evening, Allaah prepares for him a feast in Paradise.
(32) That Allaah makes the light of those who walk through the darkness to the mosques complete and perfect on the Day of Judgement.
(33) That the reward for the one who leaves his house in a state of purity for the obligatory prayer is like the reward of the pilgrim in the state of ihraam.
(34) That the one who leaves for the mosque has a guarantee from Allaah that He should provide sustenance for him and suffice him (in his affairs).
(35) That the one who walks for the prayer in congregation, after having beautified his ablution and travels to visit Allaah, the Exalted, is bestowed with a great favor in that Allaah honors those of his servants who visit Him, and Allaah’s honoring of them is increasing their faith [Eemaan], showing benevolence to them, rewarding them, raising their ranks, removing their difficulties and making their hearts content and happy.
(36) The obligation to pray in congregation.
(37) That the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) did not make a concession for the old blind man by allowing him to leave the congregational prayer. How then can those who are fit and well be allowed a concession?
(38) That whoever abandons the congregational prayer has been threatened with heedlessness and having a seal placed on his heart.
(39) That staying away from the congregational prayer is a sign of hypocrisy.
(40) The extreme striving of the Companions (radiallaahu ‘anhum) for attending the congregational prayer inspite of difficult circumstances. Some of the Salaf used to say:
The prayer is from the Hereafter, so when you enter it you leave the world.

Who said that a committed Muslimah is “immune” to love?!

She is human, isn’t she? She has a beating heart in her chest like everybody else! But she only keeps in mind that “Prevention is better than cure”. So she would stay away from any source of fitnah and from what Allah forbade in her relationship with the opposite sex.

And if she falls in love with someone, a true Muslimah wouldn’t let her heart beat her, she wouldn’t let her feelings overtake her.
It’s true that she is weak like everyone else but she knows that Allah is the Only One who strengthens her. Her Imaan and faith are always her guide and power! And like any other situation when she feels weak, she would turn to her Lord for help.

It means that she wouldn’t share love songs with the one she loves or tell him love words or draw a heart for him. She wouldn’t give him a single hint about her feelings! Her chastity, modesty and most of all her fear of Allah would stop her from confessing her love to him.

But she would confess her true feelings only to The Controllers of hearts, she would turn to Him for hidayah (guidance) and make this Dua:

"Oh Allah, I love one of your servants, so if he is good for me, join us together in Halal under your satisfaction, but if he’s not, then turn him away from me and don’t let my heart get attached to him!"

Who said that a committed Muslimah is “immune” to love?!

The Muslim Woman’s Status in the Ummah | Shaykh Bin Baaz [Rahimahullaah]
The status of the Muslim woman in Islaam is a very noble and lofty one, and her effect is very great in the life of every Muslim. Indeed, the Muslim woman is the initial teacher in the building of a righteous society, providing she follows the guidance from the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah of His Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. Since adherence to the Qur’aan and the Sunnah distances every Muslim male or female from being misguided in any matter. The misguidance that the various nations suffer from, the path of Allaah the Most Perfect, the Most High, and from what His Prophets and Messengers, may Allaah’s peace and prayers be upon them all, came with. The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said:

"I am leaving behind two matters, you will not go astray as long as you cling to them both, the Book of Allaah and my Sunnah."

The great importance of the Muslim woman’s role - whether as wife, sister or daughter, and the rights that are due to her and the obligations due from her have been explained in the noble Qur’aan, and further details of this have been explained in the purified Sunnah.

The secret of her importance lies in the tremendous burden and responsibility that is placed upon her, and the difficulties that she has to shoulder. In terms of responsibilities, some of which not even a man can bear. This is why from the most important obligations upon a person is to show gratitude to the mother, and kindness and good companionship with her. And in this matter, she is to be given precedence over and above the father. Allaah the Most High, says:

"And We have enjoined upon man to be dutiful and good to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness upon weakness and hardship upon hardship, and his weaning is in two years. Show gratitude and thanks to Me and to your parents. Unto Me is the final destination." [Al-Qur’aan 31:14]

Allah the Most High, said: ”And We have enjoined upon man to be dutiful and kind to his parents. His mother bears him with hardship, and she brings him forth with hardship. And the bearing and the weaning of him is thirty months.” [Al-Qur’aan 41:15].

A man came to Allaah’s Messenger sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said:

O Messenger of Allaah! Who from amongst mankind warrants the best companionship from me. He replied: “Your mother.” The man asked: Then who? So he replied: “Your mother.” The man asked: Then who? So the Prophet replied again: “Your mother.” The man then asked: Then who? So he replied: “Then your father.” So this necessitates that the mother is given three times the likes of kindness and good treatment than the father.

As regards the wife, then her effect in making the soul tranquil and serene, has been clearly shown in the noble aayah (verse), in His - the Most High’s - saying:

"And from amongst His Signs is this: That He created for you wives from amongst yourselves, so that you may find serenity and tranquility in them, And He has put between you love and compassion. Indeed, in this are signs for those who reflect." [Al-Qur’aan 30:21]

Al-Haafidh Ibn Katheer (d.774H) - rahimahullaah - said, whilst explaining the terms mawaddah and rahmahwhich occur in the above verse. “Al-mawaddah means love and affection, and ar-rahmah means compassion and pity, since a man takes the hand of a woman either due to his love for her, or because of compassion and pity for her; by giving to her a child from himself…”

And the unique stance that the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam’s wife Khadeejah - radiallaahu ‘anhaa - took, had a huge effect in calming and reassuring Allaah’s Messenger sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, when the angel Jibreel - 'alayhis-salaam - first came to him in the cave of Hiraa. The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alayi wa sallam returned to Khadeejah with the first Revelation and with his heart trembling and beating severely, saying to her, "Cover me! Cover me!" So she covered him until his fear was over, after which he told Khadeejah - radiallaahu ‘anhaa - everything that had happened, and said: ”I fear that something may happen to me.” She said to him: “Never! By Allaah! Allaah will never disgrace you. You keep good ties with relations, you help the poor and the destitute, you serve your guests generouly and assist those who have been affected with calamities.”

And do not forget about ‘Aaishah - radiallaahu ‘anhaa - and her immense contribution. Even the eminent Sahaabah (Companions) used to take knowledge of Hadeeth from her, and many of the Sahaabiyaat (female Companions) learnt the various rulings pertaining to women’s issues from her.

How Islam appreciate and honor Women and her status in the Ummah.

Question: Which is better for a Muslim woman, taking care of her house and husband, or devoting her time to seeking knowledge, and bringing a servant to take care of the house?

Answer: Yes, it is obligatory for a Muslim woman to strive to understand her religion as much as possible, but serving her husband, obeying her husband and raising her children are also important obligations. She should make time to learn every day, even if it is only a little. Or she should put aside some time for reading and then the rest of her time will be for her daily work. In this way she will not be neglecting learning and she will not be neglecting her work and children and leaving them to a servant to look after. Seeking balance in this matter, by setting aside time for learning, even if it is a little, and time for her housework, will be sufficient for her.

Assalamu’alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barkatuhu,
Before you read this blog entry, i know many had read this but i ask you & i need you on this case to compose yourself, concentrate and as you read, put yourself inside the story so you get the feel of this story. in sha Allaah.
Ready? Bismillaah.
_______
Imagine this scene:
"MUHAMMAD ﷺ HAS DIED"
- this news had been hovering around the town, from one companion to another, imagine the shock, the pain, the grief of losing someone who is most beloved to you, more than your wife/husband or even than your own parents?
When this news reached 'Umar Ibn Al Khattab Radiyallahu Anhu, he was in such grief that he could not bear the shock that he stood with his sword in his hand, confused and bewildered.

Seeing this, ‘Uthmaan Ibn Affaan Radiyallahu Anhu was stunned on such lost that he could not utter a single word even until the next day and then 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib Radiyallahu Anhu couldn't bear it as well, that it made him still and motionless.
Imagine the tragedy of this day, the dark atmosphere, the cries, the pain, the sorrow, that wherever you look, you see great companions at grief, people you see as strong, now at their weakest. subhan’Allaah.
After all the chaos that this news brought, with the love of Abu Bakr As Sidiqq Radiyallahu Anhu for Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi wassalaam, he was the only one who stood firm and maintained composure. He calmly entered the house of Muhammad sallallahu allaihi wassalaam, kissed his forehead and went out and said:
"Whoso worshipped Muhammad ﷺ  let him know that Muhammad is no more, and whoso worshipped Allaah  Azza Wa Jall should know that Allaah  Azza Wa Jall is Ever Living and Eternal.”
then recited:
"Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful." [3:144]
-these were the very words that gave the bitter truth to them & assuring comfort that made them firmer in their faith- that Allaah Azza Wa Jall is Al Haay, The Ever Living.
______
Subhan’Allaah reminisce & imagine this day.
Wallah, putting in mind the scene of this breaks hearts, indeed this day was the greatest tragedy that the believers of Islaam, the Muslims and the humanity went through.

So take heed people, no Muhammad sallallahu Alaihi wassalaam will come back to put us back into the right path, because He had shown and taught us this right path that we all are looking for. He has delivered and spread Islaam to the hearts of all of us, when will we realize this gift of Mercy?

How can you not have tears in your eyes, when you know that Allaah Azza Wa Jall out of His Abundant Mercy and Love for us, chose the best of His Creations to embody this gift, showcase and deliver to us all?

Wallah, how can you say Allaah Azza Wa jall doesn’t love you? Why just because you are facing a hardship now? Please, know that your sufferings now was not even close to the sufferings that Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wassalaam went through, even not close to how the Sahabah did as well.

The Moment That Our Prophet PBUH Has Died

My brother and sister in Islam, if there was something that will make your eyes cry just by hearing it’s story, it should be this story not the love stories you hear and watch on the cinemas or televisions, if not this then by Allaah Azza Wa Jall, reflect from the state of imaan you have right now, then ask yourself, how have you been doing on pleasing Allaah Azza Wa Jall?
We think so much of this dunya, we please people so much and forget to please the One who deserves all our time, effort and love, Allaah Azza Wa Jall. You, who calls himself a Muslim, does everything in this world to place himself on a status that people will recognize him but forgets to do his deeds that will place him into a status that will make Allaah Azza Wa Jall would recognize him on the Promised Day.

How sad and true is this! Astagfirullaah.
Dear soul. you were made perfectly by Allaah Azza Wa Jall,  placing every organ and part of your body in it’s best positions and made it  functioning well, He made this religion perfect, and He made his Best one of His to deliver this Best Gift to all mankind.
If you think that you are going astray then LISTEN, you hear the adhan, 5 times a day, everyday He calls you back, wallah, Allaah Azza Wa Jall, calls you back… Come to Salaah, Come to Success, Allahu’akbar! Subhan’Allaah.
Do not cover your ears, Allaah Azza Wa Jall never gets tired, but is it not a shame that He doesn’t when you, who is loved by Him, don’t even want to try?
______
and we pray that Allaah Azza Wa Jall soften our hearts everytime we hear and read the stories of the Prophets, Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wassalaam, the stories of the sahabah, the great scholars and inspirational stories of Muslims on how they found back their faiths. May Allaah Azza Wa jall with His Greatness, fill our hearts with the generosity of learning and sharing what we have learnt.
Amin

Foreword
(Iblees is another name for Shaytan, which is another name for Satan.)

Allah Creates Man

When He told the angels about this, they felt that perhaps they had displeased Him by being disobedient. They asked Allah whether He was going to create a creature will make mischief and shed blood on earth, while they, the angels, will follow Allah’s orders without question; they only knew of worshipping Him.  But Allah assured them: “I know what you know not, and I know the wisdom why I appoint My representative, which you know not.  I will Create that which I will, and appoint as My representative whom I will, for you shall see what is now not clear.  When I have fashioned him and put My spirit into him then all of you shall bow down to him (man).”

So Allah made Adam, the man, from clay/earth and put into him His own spirit (Divine Energy) ,and life ticked through Adam’s body and he became the first fully-fledged human being of our species. Then Allah gave him knowledge better than His other creation.

The knowledge possessed by angels is limited to the duties, but man has been given the power to increase his knowledge, and through it he can understand many things in the universe, and perhaps beyond it.  The Holy Quran says: “And He taught Adam the nature of all things (on earth); then He drew the attention of the angels do these things, saying “Tell Me the nature of these things if what you say is true.” The angels replied: “Glory to Thee, of knowledge we have none except that which Thou has taught us.  In truth, it is Thee Who are perfect in knowledge and wisdom.  Then Allah said Adam: “Convey to them the names (attributes or knowledge) of these things.  And as soon as Adam described them, Allah said (to the angels): “Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth and that I know what you say and what you hide?”
Defiant Iblees

Then Allah ordered the angels to prostrate before Adam (to admit to man’s superiority).  They immediately obeyed the command except Ibless.  He was haughty and refused to submit. Allah asked Iblees: “What stopped you from prostrating before that which I have created.  Are you too proud?” Arrogantly, Iblees replied: “I am better than him.  Thou have created me from fire, and him from clay.”

Iblees Punished

Allah punished Iblees for his disobedience, saying: “Get out of here, (from the state of Paradise or state of Bliss) for you are an outcast and My Curse is on you until the Day of Judgement.” Iblees pleaded for a delay,  until the Day of Judgement, and Allah granted his plea: “You are allowed to survive until the appointed time,” said Allah.

Instead of showing his appreciation for this delay, Iblees remained defiant and told his Lord: “During the delay Thou has granted me I will do my utmost to prove that Man does not deserve the high rank Thou has given him. I will expose his ungratefulness and disloyalty to Thee.” Iblees was now free to mislead Man with misunderstanding, suspicion and whispering. But he was told by Allah that he will not be able to mislead or harm those who follow in Allah’s way, but anyone who will walk the path of Iblees will follow him to the fires of Hell.

The Story Of Creation ♥ The Day Allah Created Man ♥

Creation of Eve
After creating Adam, Allah Created a mate for him, as his wife and companion. She was named Hawwa (Eve).  Adam was full of joy for these blessings of Allah. The couple was allowed to live in the Garden of Paradise, to enjoy everything therein, But they were warned not to go near a certain tree or eat of its fruit.  If they did so, it would be disobedience to Allah.
The Revenge of Iblees
Iblees was unhappy to see that Adam and Eve were allowed the joy of Paradise while he was thrown out of it. So he decided to destroy their happiness. He blamed Man for his degraded position. He would take his revenge by lowering the position of man.  So he made a plan.
He approached Adam and his wife, and told them that if they ate of the forbidden fruit they would never die and would enjoy the beauty and peace of Paradise in ‘the Kingdom that never decays’ (20:120). At first Adam refused to listen to him, but Iblees would not take ‘no’ for an answer. He was a great bluffer and a sweet talker. He repeatedly frightened Adam and Eve that they would soon lose the joy of life, and of Paradise, but they did not eat the fruit of the tree.

They fell into his trap because Iblees took an oath by Allah’s Name that he was telling the truth and they believed him. Thus they ate of the forbidden fruit. Immediately they became aware of their nakedness, with the feeling of shame covered their private parts with leaves.

Allah Reminded them that He had warned them not to eat of the fruit of the tree, and that Iblees was the enemy. They accepted their mistake and they were sorry. They begged Allah: “Lord, we have wronged ourselves!  If Thou Forgive us not and have no Mercy on us, then surely we are doomed.” Allah warned them to be on their guard against evil whisperings of Iblees and then pardoned their disobedience ♥

Allah Instructed them to leave Paradise and to settle on Earth, the destination for which they were created and where He had Provided them with all their needs. He also Reminded them that the enmity between Iblees and them would remain, and only those who follow Allah’s Path would be Protected and Blessed. They were also told that some of the children would be enemies to one another.

The lesson

  • Allah has honoured man by putting His Own Spirit in him and by giving him knowledge.
  • Man is physical, mental and spiritual by nature.  The Spirit of Allah, eman and the knowledge of Allah has given him makes him higher than all other life.
  • Jinn is also a creature or force with reasoning powers and a free will; Some are pious and others are evil.
  • Haughtiness and arrogantance of Iblees was his downfall.
  • Iblees or Shaytaan or Satan or evil inclination is the enemy of man and misled Adam and Eve to forget Allah’s Command.
  • Man’s desire to live forever was the cause of his disobedience.
  • Men are surrounded by evil forces and the whisperings.  This encourages man to reject belief in Allah or to defy His Commands.
  • Even if shaytan managers to mislead us there is still hope in the forgiveness and mercy from Allah.
  • Allah is Most-Gracious and Most-Merciful ♥

Assalamu’alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
I hope this message reaches you in good health and imaan.

From the words of Abdur Rahman Ibn Awf Radiyallahu Anhu, he narrates:

”In the battle of Badr, I was standing in the fighting line when I noticed two Ansar youngsters, one on either side. I thought it would have been better if I had been between strong men who could then help me in need. Suddenly, one of the boy caught my hand and said: 'Uncle, do you know Abu jahl?'
Story of killing Abu Jahl by two young men

I said: Yes, but what do you mean by this?

He said: 'I have come to know that the wretched man reviles the Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi wassalaam, By Him who holds my life in His Hand, if I see him, I will not leave him until I kill him or I am killed.'

His words left me wonderstruck.

Then the other boy had a similar talk with me. I happened to notice Abu Jahl dashing about in the battlefield on the back of his horse, I said to the boys; ’There is the object of your quest.’

Both of them immediately darted towards him and started attacking him with their swords, till I saw him fall from the horse’s back.”

These boys were Ma’az Ibn Amr Ibn Jam’uh and Ma’az Ibn A’fra (Radiyallahu Anhum)
• Abu Jahl’s death:

Abu Jahl was arranging his lines for assault, when he was spotted by Abdur Rahman Ibn Amr Radiyallahu Anhu. The boys were on foot, while Abu Jahl was on horse back.

One of the boys hit the leg of the horse and the other that of Abu Jahl.

This caused both to fall down and Abu Jahl was unable to get up. The boys left him in this condition.

Mu’awwaz Ibn A’fra Radiyallahu Anhu, brother of Ma’az Ibn A’fra Radiyallahu Anhu  went and further disabled him with his sword, so that he might not drag himself to his camp. Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud Radiyallahu Anhu last of all, attacked him and severed his head from the body.

It was Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud Radiyallahu Anhu that finished and killed Abu Jahl, but the bravery that both of the Ansari youngsters showcased in this battle just shown how much love they have for Islam and courage to fight along with Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wassalaam.

and we pray that Allaah Azza Wa Jall enlighten our hearts to become closer to Him, with every word we read from the Noble Qur’an, and fill our hearts with motivation and inspiration as we go through the life of His Prophets along with the life struggles of the companions of Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wassalaam.

Amin.

  2. When you go home say ‘Assalmualikum. ‘ (Greetings) It kicks the shaitaan out of your home.
  3. Prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) described the wife as a fragile vessel and said to take care of this vessel that’s fragile. Remember that there is goodness in this vessel so treat it gently.

Prophet Mohammed – Sallal lahu Aleihi Wasallam (SAW means “May the blessings and the peace of Allah be upon him” (Muhammad).) said ‘I am the best amongst you and I am the best to my wife’. Being rigid and harsh will not bring you close to Allah and neither does it make you more of a man.
  10. Listen to your wife-BE a GOOD LISTENER
  11. YES to flattering NO to arguing. Arguing is like poison in a marriage. Al zawai said ‘When Allah (swt) wants evil for people He will leave them to argue amongst themselves’.
  12. Prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) said to call your wives with the best name, any name she loves to hear. Prophet Mohammed (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) called Khadija ‘Ya Khadija’ as an endearment.
  13. Give her a pleasant surprise. I.e. if she loves watermelon, bring her one out of the blue. It will grow the love in her heart.
  14. Preserve your tongue! Prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) said the tongue will throw people in the hell fire so watch what you say and how you say it!
  15. All of us have shortcoming. Accept her shortcoming and Allah (swt) will put barakh in your marriage.
  16. TELL her you appreciate her. SHOW her you appreciate her.

  21. Husnul zaan- We have a demand from Allah (swt) that we have to think good of people. Think good of your spouse.
  22. Ignore some of her mistakes- pretend you did not see/hear some of her small mistakes. It was a practise of Ali (RA). It’s like putting a hole in your memory. Don’t save it in your memory!
  23. Increase the drops of patience, especially when she is pregnant or when she is on her monthly period.
  24. Expect and respect her jealousy. Even Maulatona Khadija (ra) used to get jealous.
  25. Be humble. If your profession is good, respect that she is looking after your children, she is much more than you, she is the leader at home, her strength is your strength, and her success is your successes.
  26. Don’t put your friends above your wife.
  27. Help your wife at home. Prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) used to help his wives at home and he was the best of creation. He used to sew his own clothes.
  28. Help her respect your parents, you can’t force her to love them, but she can be helped to gradually love them.
  29. Show your wife she is the ideal wife.
  30. Remember your wife in your duaas. It will increase the love and protect it.
  31.  Leave the past. It brings nothing but pain and grief. It’s not your business. The past is for Allah (swt).
  32. Don’t try to show her that you are doing her a favour by doing something, like buying food for the house, because in reality we are the courier of sustenance, not the providers, as Allah is the provider. It’s also a way of being humble and thankful to Allah (swt)
  33. Shaitaan is your enemy, not your wife. Sometime when husband and wife are talking a fight breaks out, then shaitaan is present there as a third person so he is the real enemy. It is not enough to hate the shaitaan, but you have to see him as an enemy as Allah has commanded. Shaitaan loves divorce. HE comes everyday and sits office and asks the devils what they have done, some say i have made a person steal, or i have made someone drink etc. And one devil will say i have made a man divorce his wife, and he is crowned as the one who has done the best job.
  34. Take the food and put it in her mouth. Prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) taught us this. It’s a blessing. The food doesn’t just go to her stomach, but straight to her heart. It increases the love and mercy between you.
  35. Protect your wife from the evil of the shaitaan and mankind. She is like a precious pearl that needs protecting from the envy of human devils and shitaan.
  36. Show her your smile. Smile at your wife. IT’S A CHARITY.
  37. Small problems/ challenges can become a big problem. Or if there is small thing she didn’t like and you keep repeating them anyway, it will create a wall between you. Don’t ignore them as it can become big.
  38.  Avoid being harsh hearted and moody. Allah said of prophet (saw) ‘if you were harsh hearted they (the companions) would have left you.’ It confirms prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) was not harsh hearted, so GET RID OF IT.
  39.  Respect her thinking. It’s strength for you. Show you like her thoughts and suggestions.
  40.  Help her to achieve her potential and help her to dig and find success within as her success is your success.
  41. Respect the intimate relationship and its boundaries. Prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) said she is like a fragile vessel and she needs to be treated tenderly. Sometime she may not be feeling well; you must respect and appreciate that feeling.
  42. Help her to take care of the children. Some men think it makes them appear less of a man but in fact it makes you appear a bigger man and more respected, especially in the sight of Allah (swt).
  43. Use the gifts of the tongue and sweet talk her. Tell her she looks great, be an artist. Pick and choose gifts of the tongue.
  44. Sit down and eat with her and share food with her.
  45. Let her know you are travelling. Don’t tell her out of the blue as it’s against Islam. Tell her the date/ time of when you are coming back also.
  46. Don’t leave the house as soon as trouble brews.
  47. The house has privacy and secrecy. Once you take this privacy and secrecy to your friends and family you are in danger of putting a serious hole in your marriage. This secrecy stays home. Islam is against leaving them out like a garage sale for anyone to come and pick and choose.
  48. Encourage each other for ibadah, i.e. plan a trip for hajj or umrah together. It increases and strengthens the love when you help each other perform a good deeds together i.e, do tahajuud together,or go to a dars together etc.
  49. Know her rights, not only written in paper but engraved in your heart and engraved in your conscious.
  50. Allah( swt) said ‘live with your wives in kindness.’ Treat them with kindness and goodness. It means in happy times and in sadness treat her with goodness and fairness.
  51. Prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) showed that at the time of intimacy. Don’t jump on your wife like an animal!
  52. When you have a dispute with your wife don’t tell everyone. It’s like leaving your wounds open to germs so be careful who you share your problems and disputes with.
  53. Show your wife you really care for her health. Good health of your wife is your good health. To care for her health shows her that you love her.
  54. Don’t think you are always right. No matter how good you are you have shortcomings. You are not perfect as the only one who was perfect in character was prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam). Get rid of this disease.
  55. Share your problems, your happiness, and your sadness with her.
  56. Have mercy on her weakness. Have mercy when she is weak or strong as she is the fragile vessel. Prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) said that your wife is a trust in your hand.
  57. Remember you are her strength, someone to lean on in times of hardship.
  58. Accept her as she is. Prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) said that women are created from the rib which is bent. If you try to straighten her you will break her (divorce). Prophet (Sallal lahu alaihy Wasallam) said that you may dislike one habit in her but you will like another manner in her so accept her as she is.
  59.  Have good intention for your wife all the time, Allah monitors your intention and your heart at all times. Allah (s.w.t) said Among His Signs is that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect
