This will make you loved by Allah, His angels and mankind, and you will be rewarded in this life by always having a way out of the troubles of this life and you will be rewarded with Jann’ah in the hereafter.

4. Putting your total trust in Allah, leaving your affairs in His hands, and realizing that everything goes as He has planned. This will give you peace of mind and assurance that the creator of everything is drawing and playing the right cards for your life.

Don’t get discouraged if your imaan (your faith) is low sometimes. You are not a lost case. Imaan is organic and can be cultivated. Just as a tree needs sunshine, water and good soil; imaan needs salat (prayer), dua’ (asking Allah), sawm (fasting), dhikr (remembrance of Allah), sadaqah (charity), Quran recitation, contemplation of Allah’s signs and blessings, and the company of good people and mu’mineen.

Authentic Islamic knowledge is also important. The more you increase your knowledge, the more you understand the depth of Laa ilaha il-Allah. The more you study, the more you are awed by the Majesty of Allah; the more you appreciate the beauty of Islam and its completeness, the more your mind feels certain, and your heart feels assured, and your soul feels peace. All of this leads to taqwa (Allah-consciousness) and increased imaan.
You don’t have to change your life in one day, or adopt all these behaviors at once. Try to implement them in your life one at a time.
When the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) sent Mu’adh ibn Jabal to the people of Yemen to teach them about Islam, he said, “O Muadh! You are going to a community who are of the People of the Book. So, first invite them to bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. If they accept this, then inform them that Allah makes five prayers in a day and night obligatory for them. If they accept this, then inform them that Allah makes charity (i.e., Zakat) obligatory for them. (It is) to be taken from their rich and given to their poor.” [Bukhari]
You can start the same way. Keep Laa ilaha il-Allah on your tongue all the time, and start doing your salat. You will feel the difference in your imaan right away, as it takes root and grows.
Of course avoiding sins and making tawbah (repentance) for past sins is part of the formula too, but don’t despair if you are still committing sins. Start doing the behaviors of imaan as I described, and this will lead you in a very natural way to giving up sin, and making tawbah. You will not have to force it. Just as a river washes the dirt from your skin, actions like salat and dhikr will wash away your desire for sinful things, and you will find your connection with Allah getting stronger and stronger.
Abu Hurayra (ra) narrated, “I heard the messanger of Allah (pbuh) saying, ‘Suppose one of you had a river running at his door, and he washed from it five times a day: would any dirt remain on him?’ They (the companions) said, ‘No dirt will remain on him.’ He (the Prophet pbuh) said, ‘That is the likeness of the five prayers. Allah remits sins with them.’” (agreed upon)
Of course you should ask Allah to renew the imaan in your heart and always make it grow. But you must also strive and struggle. Allah says:
“Verily, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they (first) change that which is in their hearts.” (Quran, Surat ar-Rad 13:11)

You must put in the work. You can do it. Your soul is as capable of purity and imaan as anyone else’s. Your soul obeys the laws of creation that Allah has set down. It will respond to these actions of imaan. Go ahead. I know you can do it, Insha’Allah.
Some people say, “I can’t pray, I am too corrupted. I have committed too many sins. I would feel like a hypocrite, and I’m sure Allah would not accept my prayer. I have to stop all my sins first, then I can pray with a clean spirit.”
That’s like saying, “I can’t take a shower because I am too dirty. I need to get clean first, then I’ll take a shower.”
The salat is the purifier. You perform salat for many reasons, one of which is to wash away your sins. Even if you continue to commit sins, keeping on doing your salat, just as you bathe every day because you get dirty ever day.
If it doesn’t feel like it’s working right away, give it time. Keep on performing your actions of imaan. Don’t give up. When you plant a seed, you don’t see anything at all for many days. And then all you see is a tiny shoot. Give your tree time to grow. Give yourself time to change. Trust the process that Allah has given us. Your imaan will come back Insha’Allah, and will soar to the sky.”

I wish to be kinder to my parents since I do love them very much but have trouble controlling my anger. What can I do to make them happy rather than hurt?

Walaikum Assalaam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu,
When you get angry and having an argument, try to suppress it by thinking that you are pleasing your Creator and suppressing anger is not a sign of weakness, its shows that you are strong. If you reply back to your mother, it will only worsen the situation so think you are pleasing your creator by suppressing your anger and be patient. Sometimes it happen that we can’t control our anger and reply back so when we realize our mistake, we should say sorry to our parents and ask for their forgiveness. Their hearts are really soft and they will forgive us in shaa Allah.
Here are some hadith which will help you to control your anger:
Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Anger comes from the devil, the devil was created of fire, and fire is extinguished only with water; so when one of you becomes angry, he should perform ablution.

The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said to us: When one of you becomes angry while standing, he should sit down. If the anger leaves him, well and good; otherwise he should lie down.

Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The strong-man is not one who wrestles well but the strong man is one who controls himself when he is in a fit of rage.

A man said to the Prophet (peace be upon him), “Advise me! “The Prophet said, “Do not become angry and furious.” The man asked (the same) again and again, and the Prophet said in each case, “Do not become angry and furious.”

Narated By Sulaiman bin Surd : While I was sitting in the company of the Prophet, two men abused each other and the face of one of them became red with anger, and his jugular veins swelled (i.e. he became furious). On that the Prophet said, “I know a word, the saying of which will cause him to relax, if he does say it. If he says: ‘I seek Refuge with Allah from Satan.’ then all is anger will go away.” Some body said to him, “The Prophet has said, ‘Seek refuge with Allah from Satan.”‘ The angry man said, “Am I mad?”

 It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) observed: He who believes in Allah and the Last Day should either utter good words or better keep silence; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day should treat his neighbour with kindness and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his guest.

Abu Hurairah ( May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ( PBUH ) said , " The best month for observing Saum ( fasting ) next after Ramadan is the month of Allah, the Muharram; and the best Salat ( prayer ) next after the prescribed Salat is Salat at night (Tahajjud prayers).'' [Muslim].

Commentary:
Reference of the month to Allah is a sign of its distinction and auspiciousness like Baitullah, Naqatullah etc. Muharram is one of the sacred months and it is this month with which the Islamic year starts. The other three sacred months are Rajab, Dhul-Qa`dah, and Dhul-Hijjah. The Hadith points out that fasting in the month of Muharram is better than any other month of the year after Ramadan

 Subhan Allah, Allah know the best and the better for us, have you ever wonder why Allah forbid pork meat? Here is 15 reason why we should not eat pork.

1. A pig is a real garbage gut. It will eat anything including urine, excrement, dirt, decaying animal flesh, maggots, or decaying vegetables. They will even eat the cancerous growths off other pigs or animals.
2. The meat and fat of a pig absorbs toxins like a sponge. Their meat can be 30 times more toxic than beef or venison.
3. When eating beef or venison, it takes 8 to 9 hours to digest the meat so what little toxins are in the meat are slowly put into our system and can be filtered by the liver. But when pork is eaten, it takes only 4 hours to digest the meat. We thus get a much higher level of toxins within a shorter time.
4. Unlike other mammals, a pig does not sweat or perspire. Perspiration is a means by which toxins are removed from the body. Since a pig does not sweat, the toxins remain within its body and in the meat.
5. Pigs and swine are so poisonous that you can hardly kill them with strychnine or other poisons.
6. Farmers will often pen up pigs within a rattlesnake nest because the pigs will eat the snakes, and if bitten they will not be harmed by the venom
7. When a pig is butchered, worms and insects take to its flesh sooner and faster than to other animal's flesh. In a few days the swine flesh is full of worms.
8. Swine and pigs have over a dozen parasites within them, such as tapeworms, flukes, worms, and trichinae. There is no safe temperature at which pork can be cooked to ensure that all these parasites, their cysts, and eggs will be killed.
9. Pig meat has twice as much fat as beef. A 3 oz T bone steak contains 8.5 grams of fat; a 3 oz pork chop contains 18 grams of fat. A 3 oz beef rib has 11.1 grams of fat; a 3 oz pork spare rib has 23.2 grams of fat.
10. Cows have a complex digestive system, having four stomachs. It thus takes over 24 hours to digest their vegetarian diet causing its food to be purified of toxins. In contrast, the swine's one stomach takes only about 4 hours to digest its foul diet, turning its toxic food into flesh.
11. The swine carries about 30 diseases which can be easily passed to humans. This is why God commanded that we are not even to touch their carcase (Leviticus 11:8).
12. The trichinae worm of the swine is microscopically small, and once ingested can lodge itself in our intestines, muscles, spinal cord or the brain. This results in the disease trichinosis. The symptoms are sometimes lacking, but when present they are mistaken for other diseases, such as typhoid, arthritis, rheumatism, gastritis, MS, meningitis, gall bladder trouble, or acute alcoholism.
13. The pig is so poisonous and filthy, that nature had to prepare him a sewer line or canal running down each leg with an outlet in the bottom of the foot. Out of this hole oozes pus and filth his body cannot pass into its system fast enough. Some of this pus gets into the meat of the pig.
14. According to Jewish law, pork is one of a number of foods forbidden from consumption by Jews. These foods are known as "non-kosher" foods. In order for a meat to be kosher, it must first come from a kosher animal. A kosher animal must be a ruminant and have split hooves - therefore cows, sheep, goats and deer are all kosher, whereas camels and pigs (having each only one sign of kashrut) are not kosher.
15. Quran, Holy book of Muslims also prohibits consumption of pork."He has made unlawful for you that which dies of itself and blood and the flesh of swine and that on which the name of any other than Allah has been invoked. But he who is driven by necessity, being neither disobedient nor exceeding the limit, then surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful." Quran 2:173 I cannot understand why anyone would eat it. You might as well vacuum all day and then take the vacuum bag and make a nice soup out of it. " Of course our Creator has given us the health laws through the Holy Quran and not eating pigs is even CLEARLY mentioned in the Bible (Leviticus 11:07).But some humans think they are more intelligent than the Creator so they choose...

The Prophet (sallallahu alihi wa sallam) was able to establish the most ideal society of believers ever known, whose solidarity he described so well:
■ The relationship between believers is like a wall, parts of which support other parts.' (Sahi Muslim)
■ The believers, in their mutual friendship, mercy and affection, are like one body. If any part of it complains, the rest of the body will also stay awake in pain.' (Sahi Muslim)
■ The Muslims are like one person: if his eye hurts him then his whole body will suffer, and if his head hurts him then his whole body will suffer.' (Sahi Muslim)
In the light of this guidance, the Muslim cannot but be filled with love for his brothers and friends. Thus he becomes a good, constructive element of love in this world, and a victor who has gained the pleasure and love of his Rabb in the Hereafter.

Our eman is not constant. So when we have stronger connection with Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala, it’s easier for us to fight with the desires and whispers of shaitan but when we have weak connection, it become difficult to fight. So we should strive to get closer to Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala. 
When you get tempted think of the following things:
1.       Allah is watching you
2.      Angels are recording your deeds
3.      Punishment of the grave
4.      You have to answer on the day of Judgement
Temptation will always be there, throughout our life. But we have to abstain from the temptation. When you think about the desires and it gives you joy. The first thing you have to do is to repel that thought, before it becomes an action. Try to distract yourself, do something read books, talk to your family or anything that may help you to get distract from the thought. If you keep thinking about it, it will become a stronger desire and it may happen you may end in doing sin.

Following are some tips that will help you to reduce sin in shaa Allah
1.Fix your prayers.
Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do. (Surat Al-`Ankabūt 29:45)
2.Being God conscious, always keep in mind that whatever we do, we have to be accountable to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and He’s watching us all the time.
3.When you get tempted to do sin think of the death because it is the cutter of delights.The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said:“Remember often the destroyer and cutter off of delights, which is death.” (Sunnan Trimidhi:2229)
4.    Have friends that remind you of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala not those whose company makes you forget Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
5.    Strive to get closer to Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala. When our connection is stronger with Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala it will be easy for us to fight with the desires.
Here are some tips to get closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala that will help you in shaa Allah.
1.If we want to get closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, we have to fulfill our obligatory duties and follows the command of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and his messenger (peace be upon him) wholeheartedly.
2.Being God conscious, always keep in mind that whatever we do, we have to be accountable to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and He’s watching us all the time.
3.Whenever we do a good work, always make the intention that you are doing this to please Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
4.Be thankful to Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala in every situation and be happy with the Allah decree.
5.Try to do dhikr all the time, it will make us closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala.
Following are some dhikr that we can do all the time:

10. Lā ilāha illā-llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-ḥamdu yuhyi wa yumītu wa huwa ḥayyu-llā yamūtu abadan abada, ḏū-l-jalāli wa-l-ikrām, biyadihi-l-khayr, wa huwa alā kulli Shay-in qadīr

Or

Laa ilaaha illal-laahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shay-in qadeer

We should also recite much of durood e Ibrahim which is the durood that is recited towards the end of Salaah.

Or the shortest durood is: Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallim
6. Dua and Repentence:
Almighty Allah says in the Qur’an: "When my servants ask you concerning me, (tell them) I am indeed close (to them). I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calls on me." [2:186] 

The place of Dua is so high in front of Allah, that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallim) has said: ”Nothing is more honourable to Allah the Most High than Dua.”[Sahih al-Jami` no.5268]. 

Allah loves repentance & loves those who turn to him in sincere repentance:

Truly Allah loves those who turn [to Him] in repentance… (Qur’an 2:222)

Narrated ‘Ubaadah that the Messenger of Allah said, “Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and believing women, Allah will write for him a good deed for EACH believing man and believing woman.” (Tabarrani)

Subhanallah this deed can be done in EVERY dua and can you imagine how many rewards can be gained for each and every Muslim you make dua for from Adam alayhis ‘salam until now and the last Muslim on earth. This is the easiest way to earn rewards that go into the billions and the more you make these dua’s then the more your good deed account will get filled!
Ask Allah for the help and try to do dhikr all the time, it will help you in shaa Allah. Recite Astaghfirullah, Durood Shareef and kalma as often you can. Desire will always be there, nafs and shaitan is our enemy and this battle will continue till our last breath. On our shortcomings we should repent to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala sincerely. He is the most forgiving and merciful.

Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) has said in the Noble Qur’an: “I have not created the jinn and humankind for any other purpose except that they should worship Me.” (Noble Qur’an 51:56)

It is clear from the above verse of Noble Qur’an that the purpose of our birth and of our life is no other than that of the worship of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala). There are many acts of worship (Ibadah, Ibadat) in Islam, and Salah is one of the most important obligatory acts.

Following are some of the importance of Salaat:

1. It is an act which exhorts constant Remembrance of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala:

To cultivate and constantly keep alive the awareness that we are Allah’s slaves is not an easy task, because the Shaytaan is constantly trying to take us away from Allah’s Remembrance and make us busy in pursuing the temptations of this world. Prayer is the act that will allow us to mitigate these temptations of Shaytaan and constantly link us back to our Lord.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verses 45-46:

45 Nay! Seek (Allah’s) help with patient perseverance and Prayer: it is indeed hard, except to those who bring a lowly spirit.

46 Who bear in mind the certainty that they are to meet their Lord and that they are to return to Him.

When we get up in the morning, the Fajr prayer reminds us first thing in the morning that we are slaves to our Lord. When we are busy in our work and searching for livelihood in the day, the Dhuhr and Asr prayers create our link back to our Lord. When we return home at sunset, the Magrib prayers remind us of our duty to our Lord, and when we are about to go to sleep, the Isha prayers do the same. Thus it is the act of prayer that, regardless of what we do all day and all night, reminds us and links us back to our Lord and Creator five times a day, every day of our lives.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 20 Surah Taha verse 14: ”Verily I am Allah: there is no god but I: so worship thou Me (only) and establish regular prayer for My Remembrance.”

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 29 Surah Ankabut verse 45: Recite what is sent of the Book by inspiration to thee and establish Regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds; and Remembrance of Allah is the Greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And Allah knows the (deeds) that ye do.

2. It develops God-consciousness and piety

Five times a day, every day of his adult life, the believer is reminded about his covenant he made with his Creator. From the time he gets up to the time he goes back to bed, regardless of what pre-occupations or temptations of the world he might be pursuing, he is reminded by prayer to remember his Lord and the believer thus renews his covenant made with Him with every prayer. The believer is always aware of his prayer times, and knows deep in his heart that the first thing that will be asked of him on the Day of Judgment in the Presence of his Majestic Lord is his constancy of prayer; thus he constantly fears that Day of Accounting at least five times a day, every single day of his life! The prescribed five obligatory prayers act like a battery charger for a believer, who charges his battery five times a day to remain fully conscious and charged regarding his mission of life, and the covenant he has made with his Majestic and Supreme Lord.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 103: Indeed, the salaat is a prescribed duty that should be performed at the appointed times by the believers.

Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 863 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

He heard that the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘The first thing about which the people will be called to account out of their actions on the Day of Judgment is Prayer. Our Lord, the Exalted, will say to the Angels - though He knows better: “Look into the prayer of My servant and see whether he has offered it perfectly or imperfectly.” If it is perfect, that will be recorded as perfect. If it is defective, He will say: “See if there are some optional (Sunnah or Nafl) prayers offered by My servant.” If there are optional prayer to his credit, He will say: “Compensate the obligatory prayer by the optional prayer for My servant.” Then all the actions will be considered similarly.’

Some other hadith’s on the importance of Salaat:

Ibn Mas`ud (radiallahu anh) reported: I asked the Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wasalam): "Which act is the best?” He (SAW) said, "As-Salat at their fixed times.” I asked, "What next?” He (SAW) said, "Being dutiful to parents.” I asked, "What next?” He (SAW) said, "Striving (Jihad) in the way of Allah.”
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. 

Ibn `Umar (radiallahu anhuma) reported: The Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Islam is based on five (pillars): testifying that there is no true god except Allah and that Muhammad (PBUH) is His slave and Messenger; performing of Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat); the payment of Zakat; performing Hajj (pilgrimage) to the House [of Allah (Ka`bah)]; and Saum (fasting) during the month of Ramadan.”
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. 

Jabir (radiallahu anh) reported: The Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wa salam) said, "Between a man and kufr (disbelief and paganism) is the abandonment of Salat (prayer).”
[Muslim]. 

 Following are some benefits of salaah

1. “Successful indeed are the Mu-mineen, those who humble themselves in their prayer.”Qur’an 23:1-2 

2. It will become a source of strength and power and will serve as a protection from Shaytan and provide you with stability.

3. Help’s one’s conscience and purifies and perfects other deeds. Indeed all of our actions, word and deed, are affected by our Salah. And, Subhan Allah, it works in two very simple ways. Submit more in Salah and you’ll submit in other deeds…and vice versa!!!

4. Perfects one’s morals, manners, character and attitude. This is known as Husnul Khuluq.

“Verily Salah restrains from indecency and evil deeds” Qur’an 29:45 

So, seek guidance and help from Allah for proper and submissive prayer. The Prophet Ibrahim (as) used to make the following du’a:

“O Lord! Make me and my offspring of those who establish regular Salah. O our Lord, and accept my supplication.” Qur’an 14:40

Allah, the Exalted, says:

"So hasten towards all that is good".(2:148)

"And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Rubb, and for Jannah as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqun (the pious)".(3:133)

“O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you,” (Muslim).

As Allah (swt) gave Himself the attributes of Guidance and Light, how can we ever believe that we will be in darkness for too long?

Say, for example, you are drowning in a pool. Who will you usually call out for? The lifeguard. The lifeguard is already there, watching out for people, and because that is his job, when you call out to him he’ll jump in there to save you. Now Allah (swt) is over and above any analogy, but as Allah (swt) gave Himself the attribute of guidance, telling you that He is THE Guide and He is THE Light of the heavens and the earth, then how can you be lost for too long? Especially if you seek Him. Are we saying that lifeguards do their job better than Allah (swt)?

So what does it mean to go to Allah al-Haadi? It means to take the first step of realizing that He has this attribute, and having the certainty that Allah (swt) will not turn a seeker away. Secondly, it means to ask Him. Make du`a’ (supplication), pray istikhara (the prayer for guidance) and talk to Him. Thirdly, it means to use the means around us. Re-assess your goals, seek people’s advice and take the steps needed to try to find an answer. When we feel an internal instability, these steps may be hard, but Allah (swt) tells us “And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways […]“ (Qur’an, 29:69).

So many of us talk about death, remind people about death to the point that we make lots of posters and reminders about it but do we [who remind, talk and make posters of it] think to ourselves if we are ready to face the grave?

And to those who are being reminded, does the reminders enter your heart, do you get affected by the reminder? and to the end do you ask yourself, are you ready to enter your grave?

Remember no matter how we are reminded and talked to about death, it is up to us if we let it speak to us and affect us, its all up to yourself.

So today, I will not remind through an ayah because people think its all over the internet, I will remind you with the khutbah of one of the greatest caliph that Islam had, and at this point, one from ‘Uthman Ibn Affan Radiyallahu Anhu.

On his reign as caliph, he once came and made a khutbah [sermon] among the people of Madinah that made him weep all through out, he said:

"O people, fear Allah, for fear of Allah is a treasure. The smartest of the people is the one who checks on himself and strives for that which comes after death, strives to acquire some of the light of Allah for his grave, and fears lest Allah raise him blind when he had sight [in this world]."

The he also said:

"If I were between Paradise and Hell, not knowing which of them I would be commanded to be taken, I would wish to be turned to ashes before I knew in which of them I would end up."

Then he would tremble and tears would roll down his cheeks whenever he thought of the Hereafter, and when he imagined himself when his grave was opened and his body was taken out to stand before Allah and brought to account.

In another story, Hani [the freed slave of ‘Uthman] said:

"When ‘Uthman stood by a grave he would weep until his beard became wet. It was said to him: You remember Paradise and Hell and weep because of them? He said: The Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam said:

"إِنَّ الْقَبْرَ أَوَّلُ مَنَا زِلِ الا خِرَة. فإَنْ نَجَا مِنْهُ، فَمَا أَيْسَرُ مِنْهُ. وَإِنْ لَمْ يَنْجُ مِنْهُ، فَمَا بَعْدَهُ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ."

"The grave is the first stage of the Hereafter; if a person safe at that stage, what comes after it will be easier than it, but if he is not safe at that stage, what comes after it will be harder than it."

He said: And the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam said:

"مَا رَأَيْتُ مَنْظَرًا قَطُّ إِلَّا وَا لْقَبْرُ أَفْظَعُ مِنْهُ"

" By Allah, I have never seen any scene but the grave is more terrifying that it."

He said: When the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam had finished burying the deceased, he would stand over him and say:

"اسْتَغْفِرُا لِأَ خِيكُمْ وَاسْأَلُوا لَهُ بِالتَْثْبِيتِ فَإنَّهُ الانَ يُسْأَلُ"

"Pray for forgiveness for your brother and ask that he may be made steadfast, for even now he is being questioned."

O my dear brothers and sisters in Islam, this is the true understanding of what it means to meet Allah, and this is how ‘Uthman understood and how he had lived by.

We enjoy so much in this world that we forget that death has been made certain to each and everyone of us. We forget that there are punishments in the grave.

With all our deeds, with all our leisure that were spent in things that have wasted our short time in this world, would you think that we will be greeted with the Salaam by Jibrail Alaihi Salaam on the grave or would we be slammed by the hot iron chains?

The only thing that makes us not affected by the certainty of death is because we lack the true understanding of it.

Death doesn’t assure you of smooth passage to the Hereafter, death is just certain but your deeds are the one who will either make your passage smooth or terrifyingly cruel.

The grave is the first stage after death and death has been made certain for you, so I’m asking you once again, sit for a moment, contemplate about what you have been doing in life and ask yourself, with all that deeds, can you say that you are ready to enter your grave?

1.If we want to get closer to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, we have to fulfill our obligatory duties and follows the command of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and his messenger (peace be upon him) wholeheartedly.
2.Being God conscious, always keep in mind that whatever we do, we have to be accountable to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and He’s watching us all the time.

We should also recite much of durood e Ibrahim which is the durood that is recited towards the end of Salaah.

Or the shortest durood is: Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallim
6. Dua and Repentence:
Almighty Allah says in the Qur’an: "When my servants ask you concerning me, (tell them) I am indeed close (to them). I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calls on me." [2:186] 

The place of Dua is so high in front of Allah, that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallim) has said: ”Nothing is more honourable to Allah the Most High than Dua.”[Sahih al-Jami` no.5268]. 

Allah loves repentance & loves those who turn to him in sincere repentance:

Truly Allah loves those who turn [to Him] in repentance… (Qur’an 2:222)

Narrated ‘Ubaadah that the Messenger of Allah said, “Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and believing women, Allah will write for him a good deed for EACH believing man and believing woman.” (Tabarrani)

Subhanallah this deed can be done in EVERY dua and can you imagine how many rewards can be gained for each and every Muslim you make dua for from Adam alayhis ‘salam until now and the last Muslim on earth. This is the easiest way to earn rewards that go into the billions and the more you make these dua’s then the more your good deed account will get filled!

Make lots of dua that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala make us fall in love with Him and don’t get us attach to this temporary world. I hope it will be helpful. May Allah guide us to the straight path.

    Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Anta Khalaqtani wa ana `Abduka, wa ana ‘ala ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu, A`udhu bika min Sharri ma sana’tu, abu’u Laka bini’matika ‘alaiya, wa abu’u laka bidhanbi faghfir lee fa innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta.

    The Prophet ﷺ added. “If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu,

It happens sometimes that we won’t be able to concentrate in our salaah. When we stand for the prayer always keep in mind that Allah is watching us and maybe it’s our last salaah and we won’t get other chance to pray as mentioned in hadith:

It is reported that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: “Pray and consider  that as your last prayer in this world and as if you see your lord, as if you do not see Him He truly seeing you.” Reported by Ibn Majah and Tabrani.

Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do. (Surat Al-`Ankabūt 29:45)

Increase Your Good Deeds

Our faith is not constant. It goes up and down. Doing good deeds increases our faith, and those with more faith are bound to be more fearful of their Lord and more mindful of death.
This will bring us hope for the Mercy of Allah while also breeding fear of His wrath.

Hence, performing extra good deeds like reciting Quran, giving charity, making extra prayers, and performing voluntary fasts should also improve our focus in prayer.

Decrease Your Bad Deeds

If increasing good deeds will improve our concentration in prayer, then obviously decreasing our bad deeds will have the same effect.
When we commit sin, we open ourselves up for the Shaytan (Devil) and his whispers. If the noble companions had to struggle to ward off his plans, then how much more vulnerable are we?

In shaa Allah, let’s watch our sins, keep them to a minimum, and seek repentance when we fall short. This will also increase our faith and in turn, our khushoo’.

Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him):
The Prophet  said, "Allah forgives my followers those (evil deeds) their souls may whisper or suggest to them as long as they do not act (on it) or speak." (Sahih Bukhari- hadith 6664)

Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him)
The Prophet  said, "Allah has forgiven my followers the evil thoughts that occur to their minds, as long as such thoughts are not put into action or uttered." And Qatada said,“If someone divorces his wife just in his mind, such an unuttered divorce has no effect. (Sahih Bukhari- Hadith 5269)

 So, you should constantly seek refuge in Allah from these whispers. May Allah guide us to the straight path.

“…They say that the best worship is to do what will please the Lord at every time in accordance with what that particular time calls for.
So, the best acts of worship during the time of Jihad is Jihad, even if this leads to abandoning certain rituals such as night prayer, fasting, etc. In fact, this applies even if you are to not pray a complete obligatory prayer as you would in times of safety and calm.
And the best thing to do when you have a guest, for example, is to see to his rights as a guest and to preoccupy yourself with that instead of the recommended rituals you would usually engage in at the time.
Such is also the case in fulfilling the rights of your wife and family.
The best thing to do during the early morning hours is to be preoccupied with prayer, Qur’an, supplication, remembrance of Allah, and asking His Forgiveness.

The best thing to do when teaching a student or ignorant person is to completely turn your attention towards teaching him.
The best thing to do during the call to prayer is to leave whatever rituals you are engaged in and to occupy yourself with repeating after the one making the call.
The best thing to do during the five prayers is to try your best in carrying them out in the best possible manner and to rush to perform them right away, and to go out to the mosque – even if it is far – is better.
The best thing to do when someone needs help physically or financially is to busy yourself with helping that person, relieving his distress, and to place this as a priority over your private worship that you’d usually be engaged in.
The best thing to do when reciting the Qur’an is to have your heart and mind present in order to reflect over and understand it as if Allah is personally addressing you with it. So, to have your heart present to understand and reflect over it and to have the zeal to implement its commands is greater than the attentiveness of the heart of one who has received a message from the ruler to that message.
The best thing to do when standing at ‘Arafah is to exert yourself in being humble before Allah, supplicating, and remembering Him instead of fasting.
The best thing to do during the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah is to increase in worship, especially saying ‘Allahu Akbar,’ ‘La ilaha illa Allah,’ and ‘al-hamdu lil-Lah.’ This is better here than the Jihad that is not an individual obligation.
The best thing to do during the last ten nights of Ramadan is to stay in the mosque and to seclude yourself in it without mixing with others and being distracted by them. This is to the point that it is better than teaching them and practicing the Qur’an with them according to many of the scholars.
The best thing to do when you have a brother who is sick or dying is to visit him, attend his funeral, and to prefer this over your private worship or social activities.
And the best thing to do when a disaster befalls you or people hurt you is to fulfill the obligation of having patience while continuing to interact with them and not running from them, since the believer who mixes with people and is patient despite their harm to him is better than the believer who doesn’t mix with them and isn’t harmed by them.
And the best thing you can interact with them in is whatever is good, and this is better than to seclude yourself from them in such a case. As for bad things, it is better to seclude yourself from them in such a case. However, if you know that mixing with them in this case will help remove or reduce the bad, it is better to mix with them than to abandon them.
So, the best thing to do in every time and situation is whatever will please Allah at that particular time and situation and to focus on the foremost obligation at that particular time and whatever it necessitates and requires…”

عن أبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قال : [ إذا تشهد أحدكم فليستعذ بالله من أربع يقول : اللهم إني أعوذ بك عذاب جهنم ومن عذاب القبر ومن فتنة المحيا والممات ومن شر فتنة المسيح الدجال ] . رواه مسلم

Abu Hurairah ( May Allah be pleased with him ) reported : The Messenger of Allah ( peace and blessing upon him) said , " When anyone of you has done his Tashahhud during Salat ( prayer) , he should seek refuge in Allah against four things and say : 

"Allahumma inni a`udhu bika min `adhabi jahannam, wa min `adhabil-qabr, wa min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat, wa min sharri fitnatil-masihid-dajjal (O Allah!) I seek refuge in You from the torment of Hell, from the torment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the mischief of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal (Antichrist).'' [Muslim].

Commentary: 

"Trials of life'' means ordeals which one has to face in life and which can harm his Faith and body. "The trials of death'' means the troubles which one has to face before death. "Masih'' means Mumsuh-ul-`Ain, one who is squint. Ad-Dajjal (deceiver, impostor) refers to that man with a squint who will appear before the Day of Judgement . This is why he is called Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal. He will make claim of godhood and in order to test the Faith of people, Allah will get some supernatural works done from him. The pious ones would, however, recognize him and will save themselves from his trap. This will be a great trial indeed and one must seek refuge with Allah from it.

The picture shows Jabal-ur-Rehmah (Mountain of Mercy) on the plain of Arafat. Standing at Arafat is the fundamental requirement of Hajj and pilgrims come here on the 9th Dhul Hijjah (second day of Hajj).

The common meaning of the word Arafat is ‘to know’. After being taken out of Jannah and placed on Earth, it was here that Adam (upon him be peace) and Hawa (upon him be peace) met up.

Standing on Arafat is an essential part of the Hajj; whoever misses the standing on Arafat has missed Hajj, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: “Hajj is Arafat.” [al-Hakim]

The day of Arafah has many virtues, as was narrated in many Ahadith. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)  narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: “There is no day in which Allah sets free more souls from the fire of hell than on the day of Arafat. And on that day Allah draws near to the earth and by way of exhibiting His Pride remarks to the angels, ‘What is the desire of these (servants of mine)?’” [Muslim]

In another Hadith the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said: “Apart from the day of the Battle of Badr there is no day on which the Shaitan is seen to be more humiliated, more rejected, more depressed and more infuriated, than on the day of Arafat, and indeed all this is only because of beholding the abundance of descending mercy (on the day) and Allah’s forgiveness of the great sins of the servants.“ [Mishkat]

A man from among the Jews came to Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and said:“O Amirul-Muminin, there is a verse in your Book which, if it had been revealed to us Jews, we would have taken that day as a festival.” Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, “Which verse?” to which the Jew replied,“This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.” [Surah Al-Ma’idah : Ayah 3]. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “We know the day and the place in which that was revealed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him); it was when he was standing on Arafat, on a Friday.” 

There once existed a masjid on the right slope of Jabal-ur-Rehmah called Masid Sakhrah. It signified the spot where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), after leading the Zuhr and Asr salahs faced towards the Qibla and engaged in dua till sunset. It was at this spot where the above verse of the Quran was revealed. Note that it is stated in a Hadith that no further verses were revealed after this one with regards to halal and haram.

One of the virtues of the day of Arafat is that fasting this day expiates for the sins of the past and coming year. It was reported from Abu Qatadah that a man said: “O Messenger of Allah, what do you think of fasting on the day of Arafat?” He said: “It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year” [Muslim]

This (fasting) is mustahab (desirable) for those who are not on Hajj. In the case of the one who is on Hajj, it is not Sunnah for him to fast on the Day of Arafat, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) did not fast on this day when he was in Arafat.

I realized  that I am living for  a great propose   worship Allah , the mighty and the merciful , to believe true believe , is to live in a garden every deed you do you smell good from it , you feel you plant flowers , you feel that every deed you do is a single flower , one flower you take a good smell from it , and one you take good view from it .

I faced so many problems  but I always say Allah is enough for me , you have to say that too , Allah he is the only one who can get you out of this problem , Allah he is the only one who knows the solve of your problem , always back to Allah , ask him to help and guide you , Allah say in Quran Surat Al-Baqarah Ayah 186 

(And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided. ) 

Indeed Allah is enough

Allah show us the way for everything , even He guide us to his path  He give you the power of making duas ( supplications ), and give you the key to be successful , He give you  the light of your life , He give your salat ( prayer ) , how amazing god He is , He put you in problem , and He give you the way to solve it by His ability.

He created you to worship, he didn’t create you just like that, no he make you in the best image Surat At-Tīn Ayah 4 (We have certainly created man in the best of stature) , How amazing god He is .

Wait I didn’t finish yet , Allah also , give you so many blessing to make your life eyes and comfortable as He say in the Quran Surat Ghāfir Ayah 79 / 80

 ( It is Allah who made for you the grazing animals upon which you ride, and some of them you eat •And for you therein are [other] benefits and that you may realize upon them a need which is in your breasts; and upon them and upon ships you are carried)

Allah give you so many blessing just look around you ,yeah around you and you will see Allah blessing in everything ( what you eat , what you drink , what you wear , what you ride , what you sleep in ) all this it’s from ALLAH .

And not just that , Allah create us to worship him and he will reward us for this , I love Allah ,  Allah say in Quran Surat Al-Kahf  Ayah 107 /108

( Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging • Wherein they abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer)

If I keep writing and writing about Allah blessing and a bout Allah reward for us , I will not even right 1 % from Allah blessing on us . Indeed Allah is enough for me and for you and for all of us.

We raise our hand to the mighty Allah to forgive and wave our sins and accept our repent in Shaa Allah, may Allah guide me and you and all Muslims in Shaa Allah
