The One who has plenty of mercy for the believers and the blasphemers in this world and especially for the believers in the hereafter.

2. Ar-Rahim
The One who has plenty of mercy for the believers.
The most Compassionate

3. Al-Malik
The One with the complete Dominion, the One Whose Dominion is clear from imperfection.
The King, the Monarch

4. Al-Quddus
The One who is pure from any imperfection and clear from children and adversaries.
The Holy one

5. As-Salam
The One who is free from every imperfection.
The Peace, The Tranquility

6. Al-Mu’min
The One who witnessed for Himself that no one is God but Him. And He witnessed for His believers that they are truthful in their belief that no one is God but Him.
The One with Faith
The Faithful, The Trusted

7. Al-Muhaymin
The One who witnesses the saying and deeds of His creatures.
The Protector
The vigilant, the controller

8. Al-‘Aziz
The Defeater who is not defeated.
The Mighty
The Almighty, the powerful

9. Al-Jabbar
The One that nothing happens in His Dominion except that which He willed.
The all Compelling

10. Al-Mutakabbir
The One who is clear from the attributes of the creatures and from resembling them.
The Haughty, the Majestic
The Imperious

11. Al-Khaliq
The One who brings everything from non-existence to existence.
The Creator, the Maker

12.Al-Bari’
The Creator who has the Power to turn the entities.
The Artificer, the Creator

13.Al-Musawwir
The One who forms His creatures in different pictures.
The Fashioner
The Organizer, the Designer

14.Al-Ghaffar
The One who forgives the sins of His slaves time and time again.
The Forgiving, the Forgiver

15.Al-Qahhar
The Subduer who has the perfect Power and is not unable over anything.
The Almighty, the Dominant

16.Al-Wahhab
The One who is Generous in giving plenty without any return.
The Donor, the Bestower

17. Ar-Razzaq
The Provider, the Sustainer

18. Al-Fattah
The One who opens for His slaves the closed worldly and religious matters.
The Opener, the Revealer

19. Al-‘Alim
The Knowledgeable; The One nothing is absent from His knowledge.
The all Knowing, the Omniscient

20. Al-Qabid
The One who constricts the sustenance.
The Contractor, The Restrainer, the Recipient.

21. Al-Basit
The One who expands and widens.
The Expander, He who expands

22. Al-Khafid
The One who lowers whoever He willed by His Destruction.
The Abaser, the Humbler

23. Ar-Rafi’
The One who raises whoever He willed by His Endowment.
The Raiser, the Exalter

24. Al-Mu’iz
He gives esteem to whoever He willed, hence there is no one to degrade Him;
The Honorer, the Exalter

25. Al-Muzil
Degrades whoever he willed, hence there is no one to give him esteem.
The Abaser, the Degrader, the Subduer

26. As-Sami’
The One who Hears all things that are heard by His Eternal Hearing without an ear, instrument or organ.
The Hearer, The All hearing, all knowing.

27. Al-Basir
The One who Sees all things that are seen by His Eternal Seeing without a pupil or any other instrument.
The Seer, The discerning, the All seeing.

28. Al-Hakam
He is the Ruler and His judgment is His Word.
The arbitrator, the Judge

29. Al-‘Adl
The One who is entitled to do what He does.
The justice, the equitable. The Just.

30. Al-Latif
The Most Gentle, the Gracious.
The One who is kind

31. Al-Khabir
The One who knows the truth of things.
The Aware. The Sagacious, one is who is aware.

32. Al-Halim
The One who delays the punishment for those who deserve it and then He might forgive them.
The Gentle. The most patient, the Clement.

33. Al-‘Azim
The One deserving the attributes of Exaltment, Glory, Extolment, and Purity from all imperfection.
The Great, Mighty

34. Al-Ghafoor
The One who forgives a lot.
The Forgiving, the Pardoner.

35. Ash-Shakur
The One who gives a lot of reward for a little obedience.
The Grateful, the Thankful

36. Al-‘Ali
The One who is clear from the attributes of the creatures.
The most high, the exalted.

37. Al-Kabir
The One who is greater than everything in status.
The great, the big.

38. Al-Hafiz
The One who protects whatever and whoever He willed to protect.
The Guardian, the preserver.

39. Al-Muqit
The One who has the Power.
The maintainer, The Nourisher

40. Al-Hasib
The One who gives the satisfaction.
The noble, The Reckoner

41. Aj-Jalil
The One who is attributed with greatness of Power and Glory of status.
The Majestic. The honorable, the exalted.

42. Al-Karim
The One who is clear from abjectness.
The most generous, the Bountiful.

43. Ar-Raqib
The One that nothing is absent from Him. Hence it’s meaning is related to the attribute of Knowledge.
The Guardian, the watchful. Watcher.

44. Al-Mujib
The One who answers the one in need if he asks Him and rescues the yearner if he calls upon Him.
The Responder. The respondent, one who answers.

45. Al-Wasi’
The Englober. The enricher, the Omnipresent, the Knowledgeable.

46. Al-Hakim
The One who is correct in His doings.
The most Wise, the Judicious.

47. Al-Wadud
The Affectionate, the Loving.

48. Al-Majid
The One who is with perfect Power, High Status, Compassion, Generosity and Kindness.
The Glorious, the exalted.

49. Al-Ba’ith
The One who resurrects for reward and/or punishment.
The Resurrector, the Raiser from death.
50. Ash-Shahid
The One who nothing is absent from Him.
The Witness

51. Al-Haqq
The One who truly exists.
The Truth, the Just.

52. Al-Wakil
The One who gives the satisfaction and is relied upon.
The Guardian, the Trustee

53. Al-Qawee
The One with the complete Power.
The powerful, the Almighty, The Strong

54. Al-Matin
The One with extreme Power which is un-interrupted and He does not get tired.
The Strong, the Firm

55. Al-Walee
The Supporter, the Friend, the Defender the master.

56. Al-Hamid
The praised One who deserves to be praised.
The Praiseworthy , the Commendable

57. Al-Muhsi
The One who the count of things are known to him.
The Counter

58. Al-Mubdi’
The One who started the human being. That is, He created him.
The Beginner, the Creator, The Originator

59. Al-Mu’eed
The One who brings back the creatures after death.
The Restorer, the Resurrector.

60. Al-Muhyee
The One who took out a living human from semen that does not have a soul. He gives life by giving the souls back to the worn out bodies on the resurrection day and He makes the hearts alive by the light of knowledge.
The Bestower, the Life Giver.

61. Al-Mumeet
The One who renders the living dead.
The Bringer of Death. The Death Giver.

62. Al-Hayy
The One attributed with a life that is unlike our life and is not that of a combination of soul, flesh or blood.
The Living. The Alive, the ever living.

63. Al-Qayyum
The One who remains and does not end.
The Self-Subsistent, The Eternal, the Self Sustaining.

64. Al-Wajid
The Rich who is never poor. Al-Wajd is Richness.
The all perceiving, the Opulent, the Finder.

65. Al-Wahid
The One without a partner.
The One, the Unique.

66. Al-Majid
The One who is Majid.
The Noble, the illustrious.

67. Al-Ahad
The only, the Unique.

68. As-Samad
The Master who is relied upon in matters and reverted to in ones needs.
The Perfect, the Eternal.

69. Al-Qadir
The One attributed with Power.
The Able, the Capable, the Omnipotent.

70. Al-Muqtadir
The One with the perfect Power that nothing is withheld from Him.
The Capable, The all Powerful

71. Al-Muqaddim
He makes ahead what He wills.
The Presenter, The Advancer, The Expediter

72. Al-Mu’akhkhir
The One who delays what He wills.
The Fulfiller, the keeper behind, The Deferrer

73. Al-‘Awwal
The One whose Existence is without a beginning.
The First

74. Al-‘Akhir
The One whose Existence is without an end.
The Last

75. Az-Zahir
The Apparent, the Exterior, The Manifest
The One that nothing is above Him and nothing is underneath Him, hence He exists without a place.

76. Al-Batin
The Hidden, the Interior, the Latent

77. Al-Wali
The One who owns things and manages them.
The Governor, The Ruler, The Master

78. Al-Muta’ali
The One who is clear from the attributes of the creation.
The Exalted, The most high, one above reproach.

79. Al-Barr
The One who is kind to His creatures, who covered them with His sustenance and specified whoever He willed among them by His support, protection, and special mercy.
The Benefactor, The Beneficent, the Pious.

80. At-Tawwab
The One who grants repentance to whoever He willed among His creatures and accepts his repentance.
The Acceptor of Repentance, The Forgiver, the Relenting.

81. Al-Muntaqim
The One who victoriously prevails over His enemies and punishes them for their sins. It may mean the One who destroys them.
The Avenger

82. Al-‘Afuww
The One with wide forgiveness.
The Forgiver, the effacer, the Pardoner

83. Ar-Ra’uf
The One with extreme Mercy. The Mercy of Allah is His will to endow upon whoever He willed among His creatures.
The merciful, the Ever Indulgent.

84. Al-Muqsit
The One who is Just in His judgment.
The Just, the Equitable

85. Aj-Jami’
The One who gathers the creatures on a day that there is no doubt about, that is the Day of Judgment.
The Collector, the comprehensive, Gatherer

86. Al-Ghanee
The One who does not need the creation.
The rich, the all sufficing, Self-Sufficient

87. Al-Mughnee
The One who satisfies the necessities of the creatures.
The Enricher, sufficer, the bestower.

88. Al-Mani’
The Supporter who protects and gives victory to His pious believers. Al-Mu’tiy
The Withholder
The Preventer, the prohibiter, the defender.

89. Ad-Darr
The One who makes harm reach to whoever He willed.
The Distresser , The afflictor, the bringer of Adversity.

90. An-Nafi’
The One who gives benefits to whoever He wills.
The Beneficial Benefactor

91. An-Nur
The One who guides.
The Light

92. Al-Hadi
The One whom with His Guidance His believers were guided, and with His Guidance the living beings have been guided to what is beneficial or them and protected from what is harmful to them.
The Guide

93. Al-Badi’
The One who created the creation and formed it without any preceding example.
The Wonderful, the maker, Incomparable

94. Al-Baqi
The One that the state of non-existence is impossible for Him.
The Enduring, the Everlasting, the eternal

95. Al-Warith
The One whose Existence remains.
The Inheritor, The Heir

96. Ar-Rashid
The One who guides.
The Rightly Guided, The Conscious, the Guide

97. As-Sabur
The One who does not quickly punish the sinners.
The most Patient, the Enduring.

98. Malik Al-Mulk
The One who controls the Dominion and gives dominion to whoever He willed.
The Ruler of the Kingdom, king of the Universe

99. Zul-l-Jalal wal-Ikram
The One who deserves to be Exalted and not denied.

1. Repent wholeheartedly to Allah
2. Ask Him to guide you, to make you steadfast and open you the door to your future.
3. Forget about the sins you committed in the past and tell yourself, today I will be born again. If you grieve too much it will only hold you back. It is never too late to change. 

4. Start your new way of life with performing Salaah. This is the first step. Be aware of what you recite. You shouldn’t pray just because it is your duty. You should feel the verses you say. They shall change you and make your heart soft again.
5. Cry your heart out in front of Allah. Don’t be embarrassed.
6. Fulfill the other four pillars of Islam.
7. Iqra! Read and learn as much as possible. Start with getting to know Allah. Who is He? What are His attributes? Read the Quran and tafsir and stories about our Prophet Muhammad salallahu alayhi wassalam and the sahaba
8. Have in mind that you need time. You cant do everything until tomorrow. And you shouldn’t feel bad because He made you change and this is a blessing.
9. Stay away from haram. It will only make everything harder.
10. Visit the mosque and meet new Muslims. You’ll notice that many of them went through the same thing as you. Find yourself company who will remind you of Allah.
11. Remember Allah as much as you can.
12. Think about your hereafter.

But why do you really pray?

Do you pray because you need something? Do you pray because you want something? Do you pray because you are just told so? Come, think of it, ask yourself, why do you pray?

Many thoughts are coming now to your mind, right?

Yes, we have all our own reasons why we pray to Allaah Azza Wa Jall, but before anything else, let it be known that you pray because it is not because you are told so but because you are obliged to do so, it is the first pillar of Islam after shahada .
Realize that Allaah Azza Wa Jall never gets tired of Providing and Sustaining for your needs, He forgives you as long as you repent yet when He calls you to pray and have a talk with Him, you refuse?

Salaah is a gift and a mercy from Allaah Azza Wa Jall. It is the best form of giving thanks to Allaah Azza Wa Jall, best way to have a talk with him and pour everything that is in your heart without being ashamed because you know Allaah Azza Wa Jall can be the only One who can bring such comfort in your heart, you know that when you pour out your feelings to Him, He comforts it by letting your tears fall from your eyes which in return gives such relief in you, have you ever notice that?

Yes, when we cry, we release all out the stress, hatred and pain away from our hearts, that is a mercy from Allaah Azza Wa Jall, so when you cry it doesn’t mean you are weak, it just means that you are being comforted by Allaah Azza Wa Jall, there is nothing wrong on crying. It is a gift, so embrace it.

When you pray, concentrate, do not be fast on uttering the words of the Qur’an, feel every word, there is nothing wrong if you take long in salaah, it is a moment gifted to you by Allaah Azza Wa Jall, so make it count.

When you pray, know that you stand infront of Allaah Azza Wa Jall, so be firm. Stay focused, remember sooner or later, death may come upon you, so pray as if it is your last, cry, because with all the sins we have committed, we should cry, cry out for forgiveness from Him, for every minute that we have displeased Him, He tells us…

[1] Muhammad sallallahu allaihi wassalaam said in a Hadith Qudsi that Allaah Azza Wa Jall said:

"O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you.

O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as its.”

Subhan’Allaah, how can a heart full of sins can not call out for forgiveness to the One Who says I will forgive you?

Every time, every time and i mean every single time we pray our Salaah, make it the most meaningful one. Make it so meaningful that your du’a would make the angels say Amin with you.

Allaah is Al Wadood, The Most Loving, my brother and sister in Islam, Allaah Azza Wa Jall loves you, just by the mere fact that he handpicked you to be a Muslim, says so much about His Love for you, or by just the fact that you were lost and He guided you back, doesn’t that make the heart grow fonder for Him more?

When you got lost, He didn’t put you astray more, rather He called you back, wallahi He gave you that honor back, so why are you putting this honor away by not praying?

Every salaah we make is a worship to Him, but go beyond that, make it a communication, a direct communication from you to Him, rather just praying just because you have to, pray because you want to, because you need to because its all that you have, the first step to become better, the first step to become closer to Him.

My dear child, we are bound to return to our Lord soon, either I go first or you go, all of us will. So make everyday count, you are given 5 gifts everyday, open it, fill it, embrace it and make use of it.

Remember, not all the people in this world is given this honor of having a talk with Him 5 times a day, We are blessed for we are Muslims and Allaah Azza Wa Jall honored us that.

Now, are you up for another talk with Him?

Yes, start with the next Salaah, give meaning to it.

When Muslim women are asked why do they wear hijab, the simple answer is, “Because God asked me to” not “Because men asked me to.” Hijab is about Allah (swt) and submitting to His will and trusting His way. It’s an incredibly spiritual act especially today because you must strive to remove the desire for human approval completely in order to practice it well. Allah (swt) says, “that is purer for you.” Hijab is a purification. For some, hijab may help purify the tendency towards vanity. For others, it is simply a constant physical reminder that our goal in life is to please our Creator. The experience of hijab for many is described as “liberating” and “a divine gift” as it encourages us to recognize our own spiritual and intellectual center, and compels us to honor, even celebrate this most sacred part of ourselves as we deal with the world.

B. Hijab is not meant to erase physical beauty, but honor it.

What happens if a woman covers herself appropriately, and people still feel tempted by her or are attracted to her? Beauty is not a woman’s ‘fault’, and she is not asked to hide because others can’t control their feelings. Rather, they must lower their gaze and purify their thoughts.

Ibn Abbas said: “A beautiful woman, from among the most beautiful of women, used to pray behind the Prophet ﷺ. Some of the people used to go to pray in the first row to ensure they would not be able to see her. Others would pray in the last row of the men, and they would look from underneath their armpits to see her. Because of this act, in regard to her, Allah revealed, “And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come],” (Qu’ran, 15:24).

In this incident, Allah (swt) does not reveal that a barrier be put up to block off the view of the women’s side. He does not ask the woman to not come to the masjid. She is not told to wear niqab. She is not asked to pray in the last lines. Allah is addressing the men and these are verses revealed after the command of hijab was in place. Allah is telling them that He knows what is in their hearts. Hijab is not to remove all beauty from a woman. Rather, it is to let her define her sense of beauty by donning the dress and character that pleases God.

We asked: “What is the Garden made of?” The Prophet said: “A brick of gold and a brick of silver, its mortar is of strongly scented musk, its stones are pearls and emeralds, and its soil is of saffron. Those who enter it will be in affluent circumstances and will not be destitute, they will live for ever and not die, their garments will not wear out, and their youth will not pass away.”
(Narrated by Abu Hurayra, at-Tirmidhi)

He will forgive you your wrong actions and admit you into Gardens with rivers flowing under them, and gine dwellings in the Garden of Eden. That is the Great Victory.
(Surat as-Saff: 12)
Allah will reward them for what they say with Gardens with rivers flowing under them, remaining in them timelessly, for ever. That is the recompense of the good-doer.
(Surat al-Ma’ida: 85)
“They will have there everything they want and with Us there is still more.”
(Surah Qaf: 35)
“They will have Gardens of Eden with rivers flowing under them. They will be adorned in them with bracelets made of gold…”
(Surat al-Kahf: 31)
“Seeing them, you see delight and a great kingdom.”
(Surat al-Insan: 20)

That is the Garden you will inherit for what you did.
(Surat az-Zukhruf: 72)
“Shall I not guide you to one of the treasures of the Garden?” I said: “Yes, Messenger of Allah!” Thereupon he said, “La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah – There is no change of a condition nor power except by Allah.”
(Narrated by Abu Musa (r.a.), Sahih al-Bukhari; Sahih Muslim)
As for those who believe and do right actions - We impose on no self any more than it can bear - they are the Companions of the Garden, remaining in it timelessly, for ever.
(Surat al-A’raf: 42)
If as much of what is in the Garden as could be carried by a fingernail were to appear, the space between the cardinal points of the heavens and the earth would be adorned on account of it. If a man of the inhabitants of the Garden were to look down and his bracelets were to appear, his light would obliterate the light of the sun just as the sun obliterates the light of the stars.

“[They are] on sumptuous woven couches”
(Surat al-Wa‘qia: 15)
They will have Gardens of Eden with rivers flowing under them. They will be adorned in them with bracelets made of gold and wear green garments made of the finest silk and rich brocade, reclining there on couches under canopies. What an excellent reward! What a wonderful repose!
(Surat al-Kahf: 31)
Those who dwell in the Garden of Eternity will wear crowns encrusted with pearls, the radiance of the smallest of which will illuminate the space separating the east from the west!

"Are these the people you swore that Allah’s mercy would never reach?" "Enter the Garden. You will feel no fear and know no sorrow.
(Surat al-A’raf: 49)
Gardens of Eden with rivers flowing under them, remaining in them timelessly, for ever. That is the reward of those who purify themselves.
(Surah Ta Ha: 76)
But Allah will admit those who have iman and do right actions into Gardens with rivers flowing under them where they will be adorned with gold bracelets and pearls, and where their clothing will be of silk.
(Surat al-Hajj: 23)
He will have a very pleasant life in an elevated Garden.
(Surat al-Haqqa: 21-22)
There is solace and sweetness and a Garden of Delight.
(Surat al-Waqi’a: 89)
… and make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Delight;
(Surat Ash-Shu’ara’: 85)
