Appreciate the fact that you do not have to hide your faith
from the world. Some of us do. Some of us live in families that are not
Muslim. I live in a family that I regret saying is very closed-minded
towards Islam. I converted because it was my choice, but I have to hide
it from everyone.
I am not free to read the Quran, wear a hijab or niqab
or pray to Allah, I have to do this in private. I ask you to look and
be thankful you have these freedoms. I was not raised Muslim and I was
never taught Arabic, all of this I had to teach myself. Be happy that
you can express your beliefs, I cannot and it pains me every day. Be
